Liz - the young man is our nephew (my wife's brother's only child). Jeanie is keeping him in Dallas for the next couple of days so his parents can go to Puerto Rico together.
Gus just looks tough! You should have seen him as 'bridezilla' when my wife had a shower a couple of weeks ago!
I hope to have his next outfit on my site by week's end.

Liz, whoa, take a deep breath and take this glass of wine. I'm beginning to see whirling dervish where you should be. Relax, remember, they came to see you, not how clean and pretty the home is! Just shine that lovely personality of yours.

Hi Liz. I saw your comment today. I'm sorry that I pushed the attack but I grow tired of the snide and sarcastic remarks that are being posted by whomever. I want the site to be light-hearted and friendly too. I hope it can return to being that way. Your posts always help to lighten people's lives. Thanks for bringing yourself to us all when you can.

hi liz!
hopefully this is a friendly face popping in for a chat. the delight of the sudoku site is that you can work out whose comments you can ignore and not even bother to read - much better for the blood pressure. i'm with you though! why would anyone with such angst bother to put such spiteful stuff on what is just such a magnificent site with amazing people (like yourself), who have genuine intelligence, humour and care of others?
i hope you have a wonderful day, and the best way to deflate this cretin is to just ignore him - like all bullies they tend to go away when they don't get the attention!
have awonderful day. i look forward to nice posts soon!

Canuk Greg - thank you for pushing me over to page 2! Also, re yesterday's comments - I love dipping into this site for the comeraderie, as well as the challenge of the various puzzles... and to just pass the time of day with so many people from all over the world. What a site!

Hey Liz, Thanks for your very nice words on easy today. Yes, I agree about Life, and since its so short, I'm happy to be part of a family that enjoys living and letting others live as they wish. We have fun together and look forward to each day. Last time I was here was around Easter...a time of reflection, prior to that we were having a party...nice mix. See you around. Peace!

Ok - you were ahead of me in schooling...Ilford was a bit dodgy too! I boarded at Fyfield (ongar) and at Newhall (chelmsford), then did my A's at colchester girls' high...Clacton pier brings back memories, but preferred Walton-on-the-naze for the 'beach'. I do enjoy going back to my old village - Wivenhoe, which is where the Uni is, but i could never see myself living back in the UK again, but i do miss my friends there...

Hi Liz, I don't often get around to visit personal pages, but today I wanted to stop by & say thanks for telling about your dog on the ''Our Pets'' page. Very interesting reading! I hope you can post a picture sometime soon as I can't quite picture what such a dog would look like. Sounds like he is a great companion. Where in the south of France do you live? Anywhere near GrannieMo or Fiona?

Just dropping in while visiting the world this morning. I'm off to visit with my friends from bowling - we are done bowling for the year and on our first 'off' week we get together to visit the shops in the next town over and have lunch - Last act of freedom before school is out
Hope your day is wonderful - little overcast right now - but early summer this week. Take Care, Mary

Gday Liz, the SA page is the Sudukoaholics Anonymous page. It was started up for those who became addicted to the last to post competition, and has grown to include people who regularly feel the need to chat...non-stop! Anyhoo, you popped in a couple of days ago and left the msg 'This is BIZARRE!', and we're all nosey Rosies. We need to know!!! Pop back in sometime real soon and fill us in. You'll find us on the clips page.

Hello Liz, and thanks for stopping by to visit, get acquainted with Arthur and ask about my Mom. I've helped myself to an Alsatian pinot gris and have brought you some Niagara ice wine to share with friends for dessert. Mom is seeing a heart specialist on Friday, so we'll see what information that brings. And Arthur is back to his usual self, curled up on the rug in my office, watching me work. Hopefully we won't have any more health scares with him (even though we have an IV bag on hand just in case!). We'll be in Monte Carlo and Nice in the middle of August, then on to the Italian Riviera. Yahoo--more wine! Sending you blessings and flowers
from Canada.

Hi Liz....All I can say is that you make me feel very humble....perhaps I should stay as far away from France as possible...if only to keep the picture you paint of me alive....WOW! However, yes, my current plans do indeed include being in France in April /2008...I know little more than that right now. It will be a female family thing, my sister, neice and possibly a cousin doing the town! I of course am looking forward to it. I will most assuredly keep you posted as plans evolve....Thanks again for being so welcoming. Enjoy your guest....Peace!

Thanks Liz for your kind thoughts on the death of my husband, Geoff. Our Sudoku family is a great one to have at any time and its a family of choice. I'm honoured to be a member, to have so many friends across the world, even those I dont know well like yourself but with whom I can share the good times, have a laugh and know that you are there for me when I need comfort or strength in tough times. Your positive thoughts were very comforting to me. Thank you for being a part of that family. Lynne
