I am soooo embarrassed, I didn't wish you a happy birthday, this year. I hope your special day was wonderful!!! Where was I? Probably going crazy over something - trying to get all my paperwork in on time for my retirement. I think my mind is going, maybe it's already gone and I don't know it!

Yes, Gail, it's been far too long! I've just returned from celebrating my birthday, hubby's birthday and our 30th aboard the Royal Clipper. Heaven! Internet connections on board were spotty so I couldn't reply sooner. I was so touched to receive your message and it brought a big smile to my face. I hope all is well with you and yours. We've still got the three cats here, though one of them has been miffed at our absence and has taken to baptizing the house with pee. Hopefully, we'll get all under control soon! What a homecoming.
Though I haven't been on the site in ages, you are often in my thoughts. Let me know how you're doing, and again, thanks so much for sending along your good wishes!

for the Birthday greetings and well wishes. Looks like Friday is my day for release. Then the fun begins - my SIL will be there to help me.

So great to catch up with you, Gail. I wasn't aware your hubby had health concerns, but I send my very best wishes that he will be in peak condition for decades, particularly as you prepare for your Big Anniversary next year. We really enjoyed the Royal Clipper and highly recommend saiing on her; she's a beautiful ship and we were in full sail quite a bit of the time. We spent two days in Venice (fabulous!) before boarding, then sailed the Adriatic (loved Dubrovnik) to Taormina, Sicily (another wonderful place) then coming to Capri and ending in Rome. The only place we weren't fond of was Corfu--kind of shabby, crowded with too many souvenir shops (and there wasn't much happening in Ponza either). But I heartily recommend any cruise on the Star Clipper fleet--this is our second, and we'll definitely go again. Next year, we're on the Wind Surf, from Stockholm to Edinburgh. Normally, we don't do huge trips two years in a row, but the itinerary presented itself and so off we go. Then I think we'll give our wallets a rest and do some home improvements. I also lost my brother in February--we weren't on the best terms, but it was still very sad. Anyway, my friend, I'll keep you and your hubby in my thoughts, and keep me posted on what's going on with you.
