Did we frighten you away from the Sudokuaholics page? it is just a freindly competition between me and Rola for getting the top of a page. Started out inocently enough, I was just ON there so much I was top of page poster about 7 in a row. I think Rola is competetive, she had to catch up, but she is going to blame me, I know! When you disappeared, I was asking about your cats, and if you need any assistance in setting up your page. I do not paint, but just set up my you tube so I might remember how. Hope to see you again soon, and I promise rola and I will behave better while guests are in the room!

Almost forgot, I am leaving you some home made apple butter, I just made up a new batch yesterday.

Hello Meg, I have brought you a box of Purdy's assorted chocolates. They taste best without the cat hair but you do get used to it. Your flowers were looking wilted so here are some new ones. Come visit my page sometime.

Hi Meg thanks for the peanuts, they are delicious. The winters here are usually pretty mild, average temp is -8 to 2 C. It can get to -30C but doesn't last long. I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with much colder winters so I don't find it all that cold here usually. I guess your winters don't get that cold.

Hi Meg! I read about your pets on the pets page & decided I should drop over to your page & pay a visit. Don't worry about it being bare for awhile. It always takes time to get settled in a new place. I know that for sure after being a Navy wife & moving 17 times in 23 years! I'll be happy to help you paint. Maybe you could plan a paint party. This Sudoku group does love any excuse for a party!

Meg - I agree with Kathy's comments. Just figure out a way to make it a party and you will have more help than you want or need! Of course there is NO guarantee how the walls will look, but they will be painted.

Thanks everyone for dropping by. I haven't had much time for Sudoku lately but managed to get back here for a quick G'day. Will have to think seriously about that Painting get together. Sounds like fun...might take a while to get the job finished.. I can just imagine there'll be so much talking & wine drinking & chocolate eating,... who'd really want to waste time painting? Although if we did manage to keep on task we could end up with quite an interesting finished result...we could make it a Sudoku mural, bit like a patchwork quilt!

Place - Chez Laila on the boardwalk at Southbank
Bring your partner and/or kids if you want -all welcome.

Chez Laila is near the Maritime Museum - entry via Ernest & Little Stanley Sts (parking is at the entry to the gardens). It is also close to South Bank (formerly known as Vulture St) Railway station. There is a ferry terminal close by.
Chez Laila is a lebanese restaurant which serves burgers, focacias, bagels, chips, salads along with the traditional lebanese food. They also have a cabinet devoted to delicious cakes/desserts. They serve coffees etc and are also licenced.
