Welcome all Sudokuholics. The meeting will now come to order. My name is Suzanne and I am a Sudokuholic. I am powerless over my addiction.....

Well, I have returned from my cruise...what a great thing to do at least once in your life. I need a vacation from my vacation. I had no idea there was so much to do to keep you busy. Thought I'd get bored but no chance of that! A highlight was the Wildlife Tour in Belize..a boat trip up the Old Belize river. I saw iguanas, all kinds of birds, bats, crocodiles, and howler monkeys. It was great to spend time with friends. We had a group of about 22, alot from my sister's boat club, as well as 7 of my alopecian friends as a midyear (from the conference in June) get together. Would love to try to get a sudoku cruise up and running. Anyone interested??

Suz, What it IS? What it WILL be? Happy New Year, girl. I spent the holidays in Ohio, and of course, I thought of you. I am back in Maryland now to bring in the new year in style. You've endured much in 2006, and I hope the new year will be good for you. I appreciate your acquaintance, and look forward to meeting at some point in '07. Have a ball. You deserve it.

1/12/07 Suzi Q - I sent an e-mail to Ed asking him to check his calendar & dates to see if maybe Barb could join us this time. I figure we might be more likely to get other people to come if we meet on a weekend rather than a weeknight. I haven't heard back from him yet. We'll keep you posted. I may look for your phone number & call you to discuss.

Suzanne - Just found a note from Carol in Punta Gorda on my page. She will have house guests 2/19-23. What about an SA meeting on Sunday the 18th? Would that Navigator place be open? Most people don't have to work on Monday the 19th, MLK Day, so we could party late or meet early & drive home late! Let me know what you think.

Suzanne, Sounds like we've at least got the date pinned down to Feb. 18. Is your sis really game to host a bunch of Sudoku nuts? Maybe Carol can suggest someplace else to meet? If we do go to your sister's, it should definitely be a BYOB and something to eat arrangement.

Suzanne, for starters, since you have actually and are going to again meet with the Florida chapter, use your irresistible charm on them. I have a certain rapport with Judy and will test the waters there. Other than that, occasional reminders on Easy is the only other idea I have.

1/15/07 Ed says the 18th is good for him. Just realized my post above said no work on Monday the 19th, MLK Day. What I MEANT to say was Presidents' Day! Are we ready to put out the invitation to ALL Sudokuists with the definite date, time, & place? Should we post it on 'Can you come' in More section?

Suzanne, I agree with your idea of meeting at a public place rather than at your sister's, at least to start. If she can give you the number for Kelly's Bar I would be glad to call & make sure they're open on Sunday nights.

Or how about the Celtic Ray Public House on Marion Avenue downtown Punta Gorda. Not hard to find. Open Sunday evenings. Your sister + family could come. Check website.

Celtic Ray is a great idea. I've been there before. They had a lot of damage from Charlie last time I went, but bet it's fixed now. Fun place, good brews. Sure they are open Sunday nights?

Hi Suzanne, I live in Hoquiam, west of Olympia, and just past Aberdeen. You asked about 'Bodies, the Exhibit'. I think it lasts till either the end of Feb. or the end of Mar. You can log on to:
Bodies, The Exhibit in Seattle, Washington
and all the info comes up. Tasha, my daughter going who goes to UW and is getting married in 2 months went there in December and said it was great!

Hi Suzanne! It's been a while since I stopped in, but just a quick visit. I saw you came up to Montreal for a gathering. Ottawa was less then a two hour drive from there. Next time, come up and visit. Cheers!

Suz,you use the embed number ,its right under the URL its really long , type it in your youtube video then click on check flickr and youtube codes and it should come up,Angie helped with mine ,I couldn't get the whole number ,you have to run over the embed code and it keeps coming up can't wait to see it!

Suz, was tickled watching your boys. My students were so into rap that one year, one of the winter holiday program songs was a rap made up by some of our younger teachers. The laughs of delight and the cheers filled the auditorium!

hey all...only the little one is my boy. Franklin, or 'Frankie G'. The other boy in the back (doing percussion) is his friend Nigel. I think it's funny that they call themselves 'Generic White Rappers' because Nigel is half Asian!! Go figure!

Suzanne, Rob & I send our sincere condolences to you, your sister, & the rest of your family on the death of your father. May he rest in peace. We also send our best wishes to your sister & her new husband. Did the wedding take place as planned on April 1?? What a mixture of feelings you have experienced this week. I understand pretty well since my mother died six days before the wedding of our middle daughter. I hope you will find comfort in happy memories & the love of your family & friends.
