Hi Miz Tricia! Thought sure I had paid a visit to your page before, but I can't find any comment from me, so guess I'm mistaken. Anyway, I stopped by today to see if you had posted a picture of the Sunbonnet Sue & Sam mentioned on the quilters' page. I have NO idea who they are!! I am not a quilter myself, but truly admire those done by others. I even dragged my husband to a quilt show when we were in NC. If you do get around to posting some quilt pictures, please show some you've done. I'd love to see them. Maybe somebody could be in charge of a flickr site on the quilters' page so everybody could see lots of various creations there??

from New York. I didn't get to any quilt shops - most closed on Mondays. I ended up with a free morning but because this is a 'work trip'for my husband I wasn't game to organise too much. Perhaps next time. I loved your state and wonderful people I meet.

ANDREA< so glad you are enjoying the USA! Sorry about the quilt shops, too bad, but glad you enjoyed the state and the people here. Sceenery is not at it's best, usually everything is green green this time of year, but the unusual drought has given everey thing a brownish look, even the trees are not as green as usual.

Tricia - Thanks for posting the pic of your Sunbonnet S & S quilt. I'm sure it meant a lot to your Mom. Even though I've never done any kind of quilting it seems to me that there must be a lot of love that goes into them in addition to the workmanship. You need to go let the gals on the quilting page know they can see your picture now, too! Are you currently working on any other new quilts?

I could not post anything, I think it was a local problem according to the message that came up this afternoon. It was time to wrap up anyway!!! Remember, I said I had things to do.

WHEW! I'm sorry you're having problems, too, but I'm glad it's not just me! My computer is ancient, and everytime something doesn't work the way it's supposed to, I assume the computer is on its last legs. And I am not ready to give it up yet! I have too many wonderful graphic arts programs on it that I know won't work on a new computer. Plus, I know my printer won't work with a new computer, and it's one that HP made years ago when they didn't realize that large-capacity ink cartridges weren't as profitable as the newer teeny tiny cartridges. So........here I am between a rock and a hard place!

Hope Gath gets things straightened out soon. It's a pain having to sign in everytime I check in!

How terribly remiss of me. I realised that in all the times I've popped in, it's been for business, not pleasure! So that's why I'm back with a plate of nibblies. Now usually I would bring a bottle of bubbly but I know it doesn't agree with you so instead I've brought along a jug of frothy smoothies, whatever flavour you want!

Sorry we missed each other last night. The reflections photo came about when I realised the window was reflecting too much for me to get a shot through one window and outside the one on the opposite side of the room. I like it too. I just have a cheap digital camera that came free with my laptop, but I have a lot of fun with it.

Hi MizT. I haven't started on the quilt binding yet. We had a nice trip to Vancouver. I have been trying to get my house in order and I had some bookkeeping to do for the business. It always seems there is something else that n doing. I also have to see if I have the fabric to do it. It would be nice if you were here to help me cause I've never done any quilting before. My internet should be up and running tomorrow(Wednesday), can't wait. I miss this place.

MizTricia - I finally broke down and got my own page. It is under construction. Have to figure out how to add photos, when I do, the T-shirt Quilt will be one of the first. For now stop by and enjoy a Laugh from the past. for encouraging me to join. I find the site to be very friendly and has visitors with a lot of talent & inteligence - photography, verse, cooking, and puzzle solvers.

MizT, I love your quilts. I haven't jumped into the water with quilts yet. I think my favorite is the hearts, with the fuzzy textures second.
