D#1 told me about a good independent film, 'Bella'. Keep an eye out for it. It's based on a true story and the clip she showed me looks really good.

Well, just one more for a cp and since noone is here to stop me.... I have to go to pick up D#2 in a little while anyway, although nothing is on tv and it would be a good time to chat. But I am rambling now, so once again, it's time to go!

I am almost finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns and highly recommend it...good reading.

Hi, Mamacita, if you're still here. I can't recommend a time. It's very random when I get a chance until later, after 10 pm Central, when I try to pop in and out.

This is a good time Mama, sorry I had to leave to pick up D#2 from the movies. She went with her friend who was asked by a boy and another girlfriend also went. So one boy and 3 girls. They saw the new thriller, '1408' (?). Altho, I thought she was seeing Fantastic 4. She said it was really good and she liked it. That's from the perspective of 3 14 year old girls who have not been to a thriller movie on their own before and of course the boy added something to the mix. She was talking a mile a minute on the way home. lol

Mama, usually after 9pm or early in the morning, 7am to 10am, because that is the evening time for Oz.

I wonder where Jenni is? She usually pops in at lunch time!

Never mind! I forgot, it is already Saturday there! Everyone is probably busy with weekend activities and chores!

Mama, I'm like you, I keep missing everyone! That's ok, it doesn't stop me from babbling on! lol

Hi again, Thanks for the window of time...the a.m is difficult, altho I do get on msn for a few minutes around that time, since I am usually busy then, but I can get here between 9 and 11 most nights...so I look forward to having a chat with others from time to time...much more fun than talking to myself!!!!

Oh good Mama, I was beginning to get a complex, always talking to myself! hehehe

Besides, now that summer is here there is nothing on tv which is what I would be doing otherwise to relax!

I've been watching Bill Moyer's on PBS...I enjoy his show, and reading, as well as checking things out here...glad to catch up with you.

D#1 has to give the book, A Thousand Splendid Suns, back to her friend on Sunday so I don't know if I'll get a chance to read it. D#2 just took it, but she tends to finish books in one night!

We've had alot of Charter schools start in the city of Albany just south of me. Some people love them and think they really help the kids in the city, but others think it is ruining the public school system.

Hi Rola! It is strange to see MizT on the bottom of the list!

If you can ...please read it...very worthwhile read. We do need to learn about other cultures, but we also need to know that there are many different sides of that culture, and not judge by one or two books.

Charter schools have always been a problem to me...can public schoos do better ? sure..If parents are involved..If you can choose the kids, if the money is there...if you have the spotlight on you...you will be ok...that is the position charter schools are in currently. Once those things receed...so does the success rate!
