Hi Brenda! Sorry I missed you! I've been trying to help D#2 organize her things and pack. I want to make sure she has everything before she leaves next week. I hope your end of summer is better than the first half. It is a gorgeous day here! Of course, I can't really enjoy it from inside, but it looks nice out!

D#2 is worried that she does not have as much stuff as her sister or brother. She is a real worry wart! I told her that if she forgets something or needs something, then we would bring it to her.

Mama, jammies was not listed, but I'm not sure the question was looking for slang words. It only gave me the answers I listed.

No problem Stella...jacket never came to mind and is more fitting. Go Miz T....I didn't think of jaunty either and like you had no clue for mercenary. I need to get my hands on one of those calendars...pretty cute.

HEY MAMA, I LIKE Jammies as an answer! Just a bit outside the box, but we have used that word so much I would not be surprised if it makes the dictionary soon!

Stella, tell Brendan to use Neosporen (sp?) or just regular vaseline on his knee. Just put a small amount on before bed. It will keep the scab from cracking. Same thing happened to a friend and that was what he was told to do. Hope it gets better.

Mama, you're looking for a word that means "portion of" and also means "to separate", one word meaning both things.

#2 class?
That would make my guesses for the three to be:
divide, class, and stern. hope I got this one

#1 is not divide, that fits "to separate" but not "portion of".

#3 is stern!

Sorry Mama, they don't have "class" listed for #2. Maybe the meaning for "class" is too far removed for "to classify." I don't know, although it sounds good to me.
