I am in the northwest corner of Chilton, where nobody claimes us hehehe. I have to watch for severe weather out of Bibb county, next one west, well that is where our weather usually comes from. Lately it comes from all quarters. We get water from THORSBY and that is MILES away, Phone is from Birmingham, Mail from Shelby County. I have a Shelby County library card, cause that is closer. I am just a poor little orphan.

Well, I must make hubby lunch, he has an appointment shortly, and needs to eat fore they arrive. it was good to chat and thanks for telling me about your little corner of the world. Hope to see you again soon.

This is the beginning of a long weekend. We'll be travelling to New Jersey to my sister's house because she is having a birthday party for her oldest daughter who just turned 30. The only bad part is that it is a 5 hour drive down! We'll be leaving at 5am!!

My oldest son will be staying home since he has a soccer tournament but the two younger ones will miss their soccer tournaments to go. I'd love to see my sister and the family but the prospect of the drive is not appealing, even though we've done it hundreds of times. I guess it's also because we have so much to do here and not alot of time to do it!

OK, I'm talking to myself again. Maybe we should rename this page the therapy room. lol

Becky, are you still around? I went to get things ready. I just realized my summer clothes are in the attic and it is 95 deg! I'm already melting so I will have to wait until later to get those and pack them!

Just realised that I had reserved a chair here and my withdrawal symptoms were so bad after the contest that I had not called in to sit on my chair and confess to being another SA member. I do not think I have the time to catch up on the previous 49 pages either. I think I might have to buy a small heater for the computer room if I keep getting up during the night and heading in to do the sudoku puzzles.

STELLA? have not unpacked your summer clothes? Gee I did that way back in March! And I leave a couple of shorts and capris in my closet ALL YEAR.

No need to read all 49 pages, mostly fluff and foolishness but we have fun! Just ask if you do not understand something we are saying. Like TOPPs, top of page poster, just cause I happened to get to 6 pages in a row or something, these other girls are trying to catch up. The chair avatars are cause we are old and the folding chairs kathy brought up are miserable!

Hi June and MizT! Glad you stopped by June, so please come back again sometime!

I thought I had kept some out but could not find them. Winters here are alot colder and I need alot of room for the warm clothes. Just last week I was wearing my silkies (thermal-like underwear), a turtleneck, sweatshirt and jacket at my daughter's softball game. Yesterday and today are really the first two days I've needed them. I will need them going to south Jersey because it is always warmer there anyway!

Should I try practicing my Dutch again?
