WELL, I got moving and checked the situation, not a lot of water in the floor, yeah! It did not escape the tiled floor to the carpet, that is a good thing. Get the mop and a bucket and should be set to go, I can do this! (still mumbling under breath about husband though)

MizT, had a similar problem yesterday but it was just clogged. My oldest and smartest daughter saw that it was overflowing and ran out of the bathroom!!! By the time I ran in there the place was flooded. Unfortunately, it leaked into the basement and all over my son's desk and computer. It took me all afternoon to clean everything up!

I guess everyone is gone! Maybe I will teach myself some dutch!

I have to go back and check the other page.

vdV, I liked your comment earlier, when you said there is enough seriousness in the world, no need to bring it here. I agree totally. This is a place to escape, forget the mundane, even plumbing problems heheheh.

Are there alot of houses without basements in Alabama? When we visited my sil in North Carolina, they did not have a basement and they said that very few houses are built with basements. It's the opposite here.

Yes, I agree with vdV as well. That's one of the reasons I don't really go on the Discussion page. It gets very serious and all that arguing, which eventually turns personal, is not good for the spirit.

Newer houses built now do not have basements espically if land is flat. neighborhood where I lived previously all had basements, that was in the suburbs of Birmingham.

I was wondering yesterday why alot of people don't come on this page to chat, like Rosemary and Billy. They seem to go to the discussion page. There's seems to be only a handful of regulars here. Maybe eventually people will be curious and stop by more often.
