Hi All.
Gail, good news so far, whew!
Rola, fantastic news, it turns full circle now we worry about our parents.
Great pic eaa, will need more time to browse them all. Heidi, so when are you coming to Oz?
Cyn, I sent Tami a PM too, would love to know how you explained it hehe!
Think it was June who asked how my fingers were, well the blister have gone now and the new skin looks OK, not like when I electrocuted myself as a kid and it changed my whole fingerprint.(Sure you can topp that Heidi hehe!)
Luv good vibes and hugs to those who need them and even those who don't.

Well rehearsal was 'fun'. There are 3 groups of people, or 4 really. 2 groups look after their own costumes and basically their own cues, but if they miss them it's my head. 1 group is the 'ensemble' and we are responsible for making sure they have their costumes on and are at the right place at the right time. Some of them are teeny tiny. Then there's the 4th group who are also in the ensemble but are adults and basically know what they are supposed to be wearing and where they are supposed to be and shouldn't need any help getting there - shouldn't being the operative word. I am assured that no matter how bad the rehearsal seems, it all comes together on the night ... aaaaaahhhhh!

Pride girl has been sick for so long that even though she has turned a corner she is still very weak. She ended up singing sitting down tonight. Thank goodness she basically has 4 days of nothing now to just look after herself. Ally has her last day of school tomorrow. A boy is throwing candy canes at her and getting his friend to tell her he likes her. Aaaawwww....

Tami, hope your dad continues to improve.
Liz, I am not surprised the naughty ones capture your heart. You are a special lady to see the good underneath the bad behavior. those residents deserve a bit of love also, but it is soo hard to give. You are an exceptional lady to be able. Hugs to you, friend. \
June your cake does sound interesting, Save a slice for me please . . . I might actually be able to have a bit of that one on my eating plan. Can you share the recipe? I have lots of apples at the moment, found a great sale, 3 pounds for $1. I bought NINE pounds!
Heidi, glad the truck is up and about again!

I CAUGHT UP!! Wonder how long I can stay abreast of things??
Another dull, grey, rainy, foggy , warm day today. I should get myself in gear and go for my walk. Yesterday it was sooo foggy when I was out could not see half a block. Our gravel road is soo soaked under the gravel, it is squishy walking on it, kind of tricky. I had to come back for umbrella, the fog was blowing about and leaving me covered in these fine fine droplets. but it was good to go for a walk outside.
Cold weather forecast again, and SUN. I like sunshine.
I have my pansies blooming on the back porch. I brought my huge pot of houseplants inside and today noticed I have a bloom. I did not think anything I had planted in there bloomed like that, so took a closer look. One of my impatiens from summer dropped seed into this pot and I have a volunteer! Nice to see something blooming. I see a couple more buds on my christmas cactus. Most of them ( several in one pot, they were small) bloomed at thanksgiving, Perhaps one or 2 blooms for Christmas??
Well, I am out and about here shortly, need my breakfast, then to town to return books to library. I have finished 9 of the 10 books in a series, hope the library can get # 10 for me and I shall be finished! This was 3 seperate series, but inter twined, following 3 branches of same family through generations, You needed a play bill and a geneology chart to keep up with who was who almost, I really loved reading them
Hugs to all and hope to get back again tomorrow, Hope there are not too many pages to catch up then.

MizT.... I like eaa's photos so much that I ended up going back and buying a few other pictures as cards. I think a lot of the attraction is that eaa and I have so much in common that we see things alike. Plus, her skill and subject matter are extraordinary.

I need to go change my clothes. A friend came by a little while ago to borrow my 16 ft. trailer (the one we used for the
float). I had my lawn mower
on it... the mowing deck had to be re-welded on... so I had to unload it so my friend could use the trailer. Well, I forgot that it has been raining, sat down on the mower to drive it off the trailer and sat in a puddle of water.
It is just above freezing outside. It woke me up.

Hope the test results for Bill will also be good.

Today on way to the store, I fell on the stairs. The bottom step was very slick, pressure treated lumber that has been wet too long, and very slipery. Now I was being careful cause deck was slippery and I was aware. Foot just slid out from under me. I caught myself and sort of hung suspended, not yet fallen but unable to get upright again, for a minute or so. I called for AL but with door closed and him on the phone, he did not hear me till I gave out and did sit suddenly on the stairs. LOTS of achies now. It would be easier to say what does not hurt than what does :>) I will probably be stiff and achey for a few days. Pain pill and muscle relaxer helped, will probably have to repeat. I hate when gravity and I have a confrontation and gravity wins.

IH just heard that his truck should be ready later tonight. He broke an axle. He's been borrowing his lab assistant's truck. Of course, he won't pay her for the use of it. He's also too cheap to rent a vehicle while his is being repaired.

Another beautiful Smoke Haze over the City day, here in Perth, must be the third day or is it the forth ..
The smoke is the result of a bushfire about an hour and half or so drive south of the city.

Good morning everyone. :)
Nice to have some good news for a change, but MizT! ... I guess it could have been worse, but it doesn't sound great - hope you're taking it easy for a while. Well, if nothing is broken that's great! Strange how a little slip can change your life for quite a while - I still can't straighten my arm completely, and it tends to ache at night ... but I'm here, I'm typing and I can drive, so that covers most things I have to do. :)
We got our Christmas tree up - it's tiny, it's lop-sided and it's a little bit weird-looking, but Rob said it was the best he could find - and he said it through gritted teeth, so no further comment was made! Once all the shinies are on - voila! It's Christmas!
Have to go out in a minute to visit toy-shops: Laura wants to get her young man a Lego pirate-ship, and I have to seek one out for her. Everyone has made a list, I have something for (just about) everyone - Christmas is under way! And now, so am I ...
Have a great day everyone!
