Gail, you've been missed. But, it's hard to believe that you've got nothing to say.

Stella, did you see the article that the some of the Communist party officials are calling for a ban of the new Indy film. They claim it's propaganda to alienate a new generation against Russia. My response was it's a movie for crying out loud, not a documentary.

I did not buy peaches Sunday, none were at the grocery yet. I might have to make that trip down to the peach farms soon and get some. I am really wanting fresh peaches myself.

MizT, if you come up this way this fall, I'll take to the orchard. Their peaches are almost the size of softball, as well as sweet and juicy.

Becky, we have peaches from end of May all the way through till September. The experimental farms have crossed varieties to get peaches that " come in" at varying times all summer. It is wonderful, and some of the peaches are better for one thing than another variety, but I always forget the names. some of ours are almost that bug. Do they prune the trees there to the open bowl shape, 3 or 4 branches that are out away from the middle, so sunlight gets into all the peaches in the center? they look a bit unusual till you know why they are pruned that way.

BECKY, I do hope she continues to enjoy the nursing home work. Always needed and it takes special people who can work with the same patients day in and day out. I know the assisted living where my Mom was, had some very special nurses and assistants that worked there, very decidated. We will not talk about the other ones :(

I'm not sure what they look like anymore. A few years back the public was banned from picking. People were damaging the trees. Their trees and starts date back almost 50 years.

Just popping in to say Hi and Good Night! I think I have finally caught up with posts here, but have LOADS to read on Easy!
Some of you recall that hubby and I had a 2-week tour in Eastern Europe planned last Aug/Sept. Within hours of our arrival in Vienna, hubby was in the hospital, and enjoyed their "hospitality" for 3 days before he was dismissed and we came home. We were able to do our tour end of April to beginning of May. Both of us were healthy; we really enjoyed it; about half of those on the tour were from Australia and 2 couples from New Zealand! We traveled in Austria, Hungary, Croatia, across the southwest tip of Bosnia to Montenegro for a day, and Slovenia. It was mentally (lots of info & history) and physically exhausting, but well worth it! Now hubby (who previously didn't want to travel) thinks we should try another tour next year. We're still getting caught up with mail, cleaning, etc., but who cares?
And now, off to bed. Good night, Everyone!

It has taken me all day [plus numerous interuptions]to catch up on 4 days worth of posts.
I gather I've missed Mama's birthday so happy birthday Mama and anybody else I've missed.
Haven't caught up on 4 days worth of puzzles...that is always a bonus when you have been away... extra puzzles when you have finished the current day.
