Hi everyone. I haven't been around much lately and I miss this place. Hopefully things will settle down when softball is finished at the end of June. Guides is finished until fall. This weekend Amber and I are going to Grand Coulee Dam with friends. Should be fun and educational(it's the homeschooler in me). Next weekend is Brownie camp and that's done until fall. Amber is about halfway through another grade of school. She has been working very hard and I am really proud of her. I was hoping to finish but we might do some during the summer since she doesn't like to work much in the winter when Dad is home all the time. This last winter she was working better than previous years. She likes this curriculum and I don't get so stressed out about it because we don't have to get things finished and handed in. I guess I'm done writing my book now. Hope to get back again soon.

BECKY, I do not know if I could make another "shadow" , I do not remember if I saved that graphic. Change coat color? Maybe in paint program, let me think about it a while.

I had to go back and see what we had been talking about, "make Rolanda one with a different color coat" did not ring a bell, make her one WHAT is what I kept thinking. silly me!

OH, pardon my lack of manners, Good Maen Sudoluland! Coffee pot is on, help yourself. Since this morning is very warm, I think we need a pitcher of ICED tea also. I had my cuppa coffee, and I will change to iced tea rest of the day today.

Hello, SA$! I guess it's been quiet today, as the last comment I see is MizT's at 2:32 am offering her morning magical coffee/tea/hot cocoa pot. We finally got to almost 80*F yesterday, then dropped into high 40's overnight. Today's high was in the 50's, and we're already down into the low 40's tonight. I hope everyone is well!

WOW - almost 12 hours between posts! And, of course, that should be SA4, not SAmoney. It's nice to "see" Becky, Rolanda, June, Suzy, Gail, Rena, MizTricia, and others! I'm trying to find the time to get back here daily, but still haven't caught up on the posts I missed.

Coffee is on. My first cup is not as good today. I just recently opened a new box of packets of Sweet N Low, the artificial sweetener I use in my coffee milk concoction I drink daily. Coffee has just not tasted the same since. So I wrote the company. ( lots easier since the internet to write to companies) I asked if they had changed their formula, or the amount of product in each individual use packet.

I got a letter back within 24 hours, assuring me they had not changed their formula, how they mix ingredients and strive for consistancy in the mix, but occasionally a box could slip through that was not up to thier high quality standards. they offered me a new box via mail, and would I please send back a few of the packets from my old box in the enclosed prepaid mailer, to be checked by quality control.

I thought that a nice letter and a good offer. then I reread both my letter and their reply. Notice anything about thier reply??

They addressed only one of my questions, Formula has not changed, and they discussed this at great length. I almost missed in all the words, they did not address the "did you change how much product you put in each packet" Now I am wondering.

I tried 3 packets instead of my normal 2, (it is a HUGE 16 oz mug of coffee) three packets is too sweet. So then I got a slightly smaller cup, and added my 2 packets of sweetner and you know what?? Coffee tastes the same as it has forever. It makes me wonder, are they now putting slightly less product in each packet??

I am glad this has not affected our virtual coffee each morning hehehe.

we have been on this half page for over 24 hours. I have done my part today to get on with it and turn a new page! but a CP and spare is my self imposed limit.

Is it me or is the whole site getting slower? I've tried going to other pages and it seems to take forever.

MizT, I've noticed and they mentioned it on the news the other night that companies are trying to fool us. Instead of raising prices, they are packaging their products in smaller amounts. An example is P&G, they were "bragging" to their shareholders that they've laid off workers, cut the amount of product in the packages and reduced the face amount of their coupons. Either way, we're paying more.

I've been shopping around, trying other brands (including store) and found products that I like better at a cheaper price.

Hi Bean, I think it was a couple of days. Not really sure. Suffering from CRS here.

Becky - I have noticed that too... lots of products are in slightly smaller containers [only 50grams in some cases] but we are still being charged the same price.
