Our water bills are the same - annual fee on the rates bill, then pay as you use... Between $40 and $60 a quarter for me. I never water grass, only gardens, though we haven't been on restrictions for a while now.

My favourite is the chocolate couch CynB.

School photo time again - didn't we just do that a couple of months ago? I can't believe how quickly time is passing....

Work tomorrow.... Sigh.... Actually I do enjoy getting out there, and especially enjoy earning an income....

Just checked our water rates - $49.25 per quarter for access, plus consumption which was $18.75 last quarter. We are on restrictions, seldom water the garden or wash the cars. We have our 4 minute timed showers (try washing and conditioning your hair in that time) etc etc. That's nearly $260 per year.

Hmmm. I think I'll fluff up some cushions to put on my couch. Does the chocolate couch still exist or has it melted?

We've got some pretty amazing furniture for this room. Think I'll go off in search of some more. Back later. These should look nice.

Mamacita, hope your sister is soon better so you can both get away on your much anticipated holiday.
Stella, hope you sort out Max's mouth problem soon. Sounds nasty. I do not envy you all the travelling that you do getting your family back and forth to college/uni etc.

Brenda, I envy you being able to have a garden. The white cockies are presently stripping the fruit from my orange and grapefruit trees. The possums eat the parsley if not netted. We have fruit fly which gets into fruit and tomatoes and fills them with maggots. Then there are ste snails and grubs. Not to mention the cost of water!

We can only water by hand on Sunday and Wednesday. Up till 10am and after 4pm. Car can only be washed using a bucket and no washing of hard surfaces such as paths or walls.

Still nobody about. I had a good laugh tonight. One of the new members returned a message to my page. Commented about the 'treats'(which are on the sideboard) but left out the 'R'.
