Hi June, you poor thing. You not well and hubby in agony! It just keeps getting more fun hey!
The hot weather sucks to be honest, although I can't complain really. I have hardly left the house while it has been this hot, and I keep the house like the dark hole of Calcutta in the heat. Where we are, I think the temps don't get as high as the Melbourne temps but when it stays around for a few days, a degree here and there are irrelevant.

Hi CynB, I am OK now but hubby still not feeling the best. He played Bowls in the sun on both Saturday and Sunday after being in bed all day Friday.......and then not drinking enough water.

Age does not help....but you cannot tell a man that! Yes the pain is terrible with kidney stones.

No, June, my sis and I were discussing our hubbys today. We decided they are a law unto themselves. You can't tell them anything - they're men. But we decided that despite that, our hubby's are pretty good in the grand scale of things.

BTW They said on the news today that we have just had a new record-hottest night in March on record! 29C through the night, getting down to 26.9 at 7 o'clock this morning!

Cant wait until chat is fixed. I want to talk about something without the world watching.

CynB, The chair is part of a dining room set that originally belonged to my G/grandparents. They are over 100 years old. My SA chair.

Did you all notice that I didn't wheeeeeee over the next page - I will stop that bad habit here. But - the devil makes me do it on easy sometimes.

Gail - how did you sleep through a 29deg night? Do you have air-con?

No Cyn, we only have portable evaporative coolers that really do little to keep this heat at bay.
The bedroom has both inside curtains and a bamboo blind on the outside because it is at the west end of the house and can get very hot. As I said, up here in the mountains, the temps don't get as high and luckily, we get a little breeze at night. We had a fan blowing over us and that was enough, thankfully, to get us to sleep.

I am intending on going. I think it is school holidays so I am going to book the 2 older kids in for day care activities and just bring the little guy if possible. Then I can slightly relax. C U There.

Cool change is blowing through here, Gail. But I feel stuffed anyway, probably because I went to yoga for the first time in about 12 months. Can't do much related to the knee, but was pleasantly surprised at what else I could do.

Hi Madby, glad to know you're contributing a sofa. Might be useful if my deckchair breaks down.

How lovely, a nice bright freshly decorated uncluttered room. Do you think it was the Gaelic that stuffed the site up? I went to post and nothing happened for about five minutes, so I turned the computer off and went out, surprised to find it there.
