The kookaburra just came looking for a feed and had to cut a bit off the rump steak I am about to cook for our dinner. One spoilt Kooka!

Hi Rolanda, I can put on a wonderful meal and no comments but when I cook sausages and mashed potato (with some onion in the potato) Hubby always comments so I had better send him to your place Rolanda. We are having rump steak with pepper sauce, small potatoes, corn on the cob, carrots and buck choy.(some oyster sauce on the BC and honey on the carrots)

I love bangers and mash, but noone else in this house does. : (

not too fond of the bangers my myself Shar, but love chops..

the sick one just got home from Uni (#2son has been struck with a gastro bug.)..
he damaged his car on Saturday, not in a good state to be driven.
so I was Mrs Taxi today, taking him to the Doctors and to Uni, after he finished his shift at work this morning.

Rolanda sorry to hear about your little angel, hope he soon recovers. Seems to be a lot of it around. Was it windy your way today? Dino I am not ready yet for a wheel chair white stick maybe! Shar thanks, I would love to share your invisible couch.

I think I should have kept the steak for the kooka and the cat. It was tough!!!

We had the gastro bug last week. Not sure how your son got it Rolanda as I was not on the computer much to send it over. How did he damage his car? Hope he was not hurt.

June put slices of paw paw over it for a few minutes.Best tenderiser there is. We also have zeppelins in the clouds tonight! With minted peas and stuffed tomatoes.

no he wasnt hurt.. his hip pocket will be when he has to cough up the $$ to pay for the repairs.

He was parked next to a trolley bay and the shops.
When he finished work, he got in his little vroom vroom, backed out, turning the car
and bang - the front side of the car hit the trolley bay pole.
damaged the front bumper bar which is now loose, the indicator light missing, and the rubber arched moulding over the wheel come off.

an expensive lesson for the young P Plater to learn.. when backing out, keep an eye on what is happening to the front of the car, and well as the back!!

Oh dear! He must have hit it quite hard. I expect we have all done something similar at one time or another. Are you ready for the demolition squad attacking your ensuite Rolanda? I must feed my two old ladies, see you on the morrow, goodnight all.

Bedroom has been emptied, last Sunday's exercise.. bed in study, bedside cabs and chest of drawers in lounge room, carpet covered up...

Just think how nice it will be when it is finished. We had ours done Nov 06 and it has made a big difference and easier to keep clean.

Good morning all! Wow, busy little beavers since yesterday morning! I'll have to go back and catch up!

Hope everyone is doing well. Dreary day so far and we still haven't gotten rid of all of the snow and ice. The ice is about 4 inches thick on the driveway and is playing havoc with the cars. We had to bring our good one in again today because something got loose or maybe a spring/strut broke from either the driveway or the potholes in the roads. It's always something! Have a great day!

Nice to see some new "faces" and some old friends! Appy, you are so funny! Yes no restrictions of any kind here.(laugh, knit, cook...) Pull up a chair and sit a spell any time. Fresh chatting is always fun!

Madby3, you can wheee anytime you want to get to the next page! We used to keep track of them in the "old" days, but it got a bit much. It is fun though!
