Good morning all! Almost packed, leaving tomorrow! It's hard to pack though because my niece is still here and she has two of her three kids with her, ages 5 and 6. They're great kids, but I usually create chaos when I pack and my space is limited. Hubby was supposed to take the kids' car to work today (19 years old) but it wouldn't start! We are not having much luck lately! I just hope our van will make it when I bring them to their van. It looks like her boyfriend was able to borrow a truck and he's going to rent a car trailer to tow it back down. It's a long drive for him (around 3 1/2 hours one way) so it was really nice of him to offer. My niece was at her wits end. Hopefully, this will work out!

Well, back to organizing. I can't decide on which shoes will be most comfortable, so I may have to bring them all!

All. Didn't manage to get back last night, long day so I went to bed early. Not even twelve hours and almost two more pages. I woke up to new snow on the ground and it is snowing here now. Maybe Stella could bring back some sunshine for us. Have a great day, everyone.

Weather here today has been quite nice, I wouldn't say spring like but not winter anymore.
MizT we ave 5 small fancy goldfish in the pond, a lily (though as yet it hasn't flowered)and a couple of aerating plants, these are the ones which have to be thinned each year.

BOY, I am lazy today. I think I drained my batteries yesterday, as I did a LOt of stuff! Today I have been recharge mode. My story, anyway. Best i could do on short notice

I have a hectic day planned trying to get everything ready for a 1 o'clock meeting. They only have this meeting once every 2 months so anything I miss will have to wait another 2 months to be dealt with.... Oh the pressure! I've been out of the working world for so long that I had forgotten what it's like..

Tomorrow is supposed to be a camp out at d2s school. If those dark, gloomy clouds don't go away there could be lots of disappointed kiddies out here. If the camp out does go ahead, I get to go and set up a tent. I usually leave that to hubby and ds so that could be an adventure...

Went out and bought myself a little diary to carry in my handbag last night. I double-booked once too often... At least I have 2 weeks of school holidays coming up - no tutoring, and no after school sport, only the baseball tournament and arranging visits with friends...

Look at that! I managed a serial post without even trying! Guess that means it's time to go.

Hubby, son-in-law and grandies have just left to go fishing for the day. They have been here for the last hour "getting ready".

Hi Suzy, I'll probably have to forgive you for waking me, I should have been up and about hours ago... it's official I'm being lazy.

CynB, I must have had your worst nightmare of a day yesterday. I went grocery shopping, vacuumed, cleaned the toilets AND did two weeks worth of ironing. Trouble is this morning the house still needs vacuuming and I have started washing bedding so will have some ironing to do later

The chatroom is down again. Sob. No one to chat to, just when hubby is convinced I'm on here to punish him for being away so much.

I have the house to myself at the moment, the dog needs a walk but D#1 is expecting a new laptop to be delivered so I dare not go out just in case it arrives.

My hubby cannot complain about me being on line as much as whenever he sits down he gets his laptop out and goes on line too. On top of that if it hadn't have been for places like this we wouldn't have met and got married.

Tomorrow is my day off so I'm supposed to be doing all of those things. Instead I'm going to let the horses into the back yard. I'll have to watch them because of the dogs. Just can't disappear into toilets and with vacuums if I'm watching horses....tee hee

Wow Brenda, you mustn't hae been married very long. There wasn't really an internet (for folks like us) when we met. A pity really as we lived in different countries until we got married...
