CynB, I have a niece nam ed Cynthia Christine. We always called her Chirsty. But as an adult, decided she shold be Chris. that was hard to do, but i tried. THEN her mother married again, and she had step siblins named Crystal and Christopher, both of whom prefered Chris! It gets very confusing now! the male Chris now answers to Topher, pronounced Toe' fer, that helps somewhat, and NOONE has that for a name.

Isn't that funny. I have looked at those photos before Brenda. We have talked about the hair cutting. I never realised that was you in those photos!
I always imagined you with long hair!!!

Forgot to say hello! Good morning all! Chilly and raining this morning! We want the sun back! Of course, in the middle of summer we would probably be happy with a day like today to cool off and water the lawn.

Went to Bryana's softball game on Wednesday and they won. She played very well. We went to the diner in town for dinner afterward. She was extremely happy to get something different to eat! Didn't get home until 9pm. It was a long day!

We've (I've) decided to pick up Brendan so he can play with his old travel soccer team in the State Cup quarterfinals. He really wants to play and his first final is on the 9th. The game is on Long Island on Sunday, so we'll pick up Brendan and go to LI to visit my mom on Saturday & Sunday morning. I told my mom we were coming, but I think she forgot it will be my birthday because she didn't say anything and she usually does. But we didn't get to go down for Easter, so this will be nice. The reason hubby is not too thrilled is that we won't get back until midnight on Sunday.

Gail, from the age of 37 until last year I did have long hair, but when I started to notice the grey hair coming in I thought it would look better short. This is the length I have had it for the majority of my life. Once I had the hair cut it seemed to stop going grey too

Brenda, I went short about a year ago too but still have it coloured in a way that hopefully disguises the grey!!!
I love it short, it is soooo much easier to look after and a lot healthier too.

Have a good night Gail.
I don't like colouring hair as I (and this is for me only I don't disapprove of anyone else doing it)don't like using 'chemicals' on my hair. I decided at an early age that I would grow old naturally, which could have been a disaster as my mother's and grandmother's hair were white by the time they were 40. I've reached the grand old age of 53 and I only have a little grey

Brenda, My Mom's hair turned a spectacular while early on, but I always ENVIE IT. Not a trace of yellow or grey to dullit down, but a pure and beautiful while. hiar dressers all told her how fortunate she was to get that shining and white hair.

Mine now> white in spots, only and those spots mostly around my face. AND it is the lighter hairs in my head that turned, the really nice looking BLOND ones, that kept my hair from looking mousey. Now, dark, ugly blond and white, but I only see the dark kind in photos or when I puoo my long hair up to the tippy top of my head! I try to avoid that hehehe.

Well, I've gotten absolutely nothing done today and it's afternoon already. Spent the morning crying as I just found out about Lynda. I still can't believe she is gone. She leaves a big gaping hole, not just here, but even all of the animals she cared for will miss her presence! She's an now looking over us all!

As to coloring hair, I have never colored mine either. But I have light hair anyway, so if I did have a grey hair, you wouldn't really notice. I have been thinking of getting my hair permed because it is so fine and thin. I figured it would give it more body, but I would have to investigate it first.

That comment looks frivolous in light of the news. It feels strange to have life go on!
