Stella I don't think your last remark was frivolous.
I doubt that Lynda would want or expect us to be full of doom and gloom over her passing. She seemed to me a lady who loved life and would expect us to enjoy her memories rather than be subdued

Brenda...well said! We will all die someday, as we know...So lets live while we can. Life is good, and Lynda enjoyed seeing everyone having a good time. I think that's a great way to remember others...smiling and enjoying this gift we call life.

Stella, yes, life goes on, and it is not frivolous to continue with it. We all will miss Linda, and remember her. Today I can think of her without crying, well much.

I was telling hubby a funny that Lynda told me. Now Rolanda, do I have this next part correct? Although Lynda's home is only 15 minutes from rolanda, she is considered " in the bush" and is not on water mains? I know anyway, she told me that she has a tank and needs to keep a certain volume of water for fighting fires.

Now she had a lot of visitors, friends and relatives. They just did not understand the the level of water conservation she had to practice. Her British visitors espically loved a long soak in a tub of hot water, a luxury not consistant with water conservation. she said when any of the Brits came to visit, she had to hide the bathrub stoppers! That would keep them to using showers.

Told her, yep, that is a good idea, but watch Brits that were coming for a second visit, they might bring thier own stopper We had a very good chuckle over that.

I am going to have to get d1 to make me a flower avatar. d2 made my chairs, so d1 can make me a flower - though she is harder to motivate....

Guess I can't complain about having noone to chat to, I got to chat last night...

Parent-teacher night for d1 this week. That should be 'interesting'. Her results seem to be fine, but I think she is 'skating'. I don't see much effort at home anyway!

He is working on the final presentation which will take a couple of days to format and has requested "Maybe someone artisitic could design a cover (opening) page to introduce the final script?" Good morning all SA4ers. And a very Happy Birthday Stella.

SUZY, yes, sometimes storms bring tornadoes and this is tornado season. this line of storms did damage in states west and northwest of us, where they were of the severe Thunder storm kind. In one state to the west, a day earlier, 8 people were killed by that line of storms, either torndaoes or straight line winds. The storms lost energy before we had them, one because it was over night, early morning when they got here, and they loose the energy from the sun. also, the air mass over us was not " juicy", the humidity was down, it was dry, and the storms need hot moist air. It was also cooler , so all three, we got just garden variety thunder storms, with about 2 inches of rain.

Probably more than you wanted to know, and I am beginning to sound like the weather forcasters hehe. So I will stop for now. BUT you did ask!
