Not yet MizT. Still have to arrange it the way we want. Hubby asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I asked for one room painted. He picked the lounge room, so maybe I'll wait until it's all done and decorated.... I'll see how long it looks like that is going to take.

Broni, How long have they been in business? It sounds like they have only survived because times have been relatively prosperous, and even then only just...

Yes Suzy that is correct about why no payment until March. They look at what he was paid when he left the job and do their sums and say you have enough to live on till then.
I already have enough crap going on here with him personally let alone him now without a job.
Now looks like I will have to get one too.

I will just think it. No wonder I am going mad.

Zusy, they bought the business three years ago and have been on a steady decline ever since. Talk about not knowing sh#t from clay! They have been swanning around all that time being the big directors, oh I could go on but it just makes me angry.

I just got a phone call with an offer for Ally... One of the singers in a local singing group attached to the Lions Club will be away for a few days. Would Ally like to be a back up singer at an event on Saturday afternoon and sing the song she is singing at Carols in the Park? If that goes well there are 2 other events coming up next week....

June, thanks for the uplift and I do have a lot of positives in my life.....
I still have a job with enough time now to help my body recuperate (I do feel that I am over the worst of this medical ffuts)
Finally have all the financial ffuts sorted out from JD's death.
Bella loves me and I have a wongerful circle of friends to support me.
I have made new and lasting friendships on this site that I would not have missed for the world.
and I am playing dress ups tonight trying on beautiful clothes that don't fit Teresa anymore hehe!

I am trying to destress - going to 9 shops is not my idea of a fun way to spend the day - and family members keep popping in to tell me something! I'm close to ripping their heads off without provocation so I hope they settle down soon...

Oh dear - this crisis in Mumbai could go on and on.

I sometimes wonder why I have a phone. I have regular meeting times with friends and use my mobile mostly to call my mother. Today the phones were quiet... until I was in the middle of going to 9 shops and then trying to destress. One or other of the phones has rung about a dozen times since 3pm! And I'm still expecting another call...

I had 2 hrs sleep the other night,stayed awake all day then did an afternoon shift until 10pm.
Then slept from 11pm until 11.45am.
What a shock to see the time when I woke.Must have needed it.I now feel really good and prob wont sleep tonight now.But that is ok.

The local news hasn't caught up with the action, I think I'll go back to Appy's link to see what they have...

I personally hate the phone.Have a mobile but only use in emergencies.
