Nola, how did you get through your shift? Caffeine? Or just so busy you didn't have time to get sleepy?

Hey Nola, at least you had a good sleep, but working strange hours will throw your body clock out, hope you get some rest tonight.
Zusy, you phone knows when it can annoy you most!
Some are not the right size but swanning around in an off the shoulder number and silky cargo pants now.

My phone is only supposed to be for emergencies Nola, other than calling mum. I have a plan that lets me call my mother for free for up to an hour a day, which is good as she lives a long way from here and only has a mobile. The problem is too many people have my number!!

I'm going to take off now too. My vent has left me feeling calmer - thanks for listening guys. I felt bad after I hit submit because it's so trivial...
Hubby is home, the new lounge, or rather the recliners, are calling...
Have a great evening!

Suzy, when my back was really bad and I could not get up from a horizontal position I slept in my recliner. I think MizT has done that at times too. I am sure you will enjoy your new lounge.
This page is a good place to vent! We all sympathise. I know what it is like shopping with two daughters and even now I still get taken along each school holidays so I can pay for lunch. (I do not mind paying for lunch. Just the wandering around the shops!!!)

Oh June - I know exactly what you mean! My daughter asks me to meet her at a big shopping centre - near her, not me - we traipse about all day in and out of shops and back-track several times. Then I pay for morning tea and I pay for lunch. But I do remember letting my mother do the same for me and I figure, what goes around comes around.

YEAH for Ally, Suzy that is great. You think she will be happy and want to do this?
NOLA working different times is not easy, messes with your internaal clock. Do you mind sharing what work you do? Or have you already and I missed it?

Ahhh, My Mom insisted on paying for my lunch! after she was not good driving, wold meet her near the freeway, park my car and i would drive her in hers up to the shopping center. (TAMI we were going to Riverchase Galleria coming up from the south) Mom was a fantastic shopper and could see an item, blouse say, and know if it went with those pants, or the sweater you already had. I got my sense of color from her, thought everyone has this. Only one time did I have this Hot Pink 2 piece dress, wanted another blouse to make diffeent outfit and I missed that color by a MILE hehehe.

Person I would take shopping for my clothes? Al! he can take a look through the racks and pull out items, this and this and this would work. I do not know why I even bother trying them on, if he says "this" it will fit! For my birthday one year, he phoned mid afternoon, said get ready, we are going out. I said, what should i wear, since he was not telling where we were going. He said , never mind what, just be ready, makeup, hair and all, when I get there. OK, I could do that. He comes in, hands me a sack, said you can wear this, and inside the cutest litle summer dress. I put it on, he said, need a belt and brought one, and it was just right. OH, he once brough me a jump suit, and those have to fit so many places, yes, just right. hehehe. he has not done that in a while, but few extra pounds, guess makes it not so fun now?

Wow. I can't imagine taking my mother shopping and letting her pay for lunch, although she always offers.
Viv, what Centrelink is doing to you p***** me off too. I get so sick of those who work and pay taxes for many years always missing out. I'm an expert. I do casual work to help us get ahead, can't get a single cent to help keep my son at uni - costing us hundreds $ each week - then I see able bodied people walking the street (mostly to the TAB or the local) and McDonald's and KFC etc desperate for staff - no experience needed. I ask myself why I'm working. Something is very wrong.
