Ohhh does this post make a CP ??
Now I must go back to the chemist and take the correct script this time to be filled.
I took the wrong one and have just discovered I do not need these particular tablets yet.
Oh well I will have plenty to take away with me.

Afternoon all!
Quick visit to read the posts, still don't have time to do the puzzles...
Rolanda, good to see you back and posting again. My clothes line is empty right now if you want to borrow it. Those belly busters were a handful today! Couldn't fit them in some mail boxes... Hope I didn't squish your regular mail underneath...

Ruby, I love that you refuse to have diabetes. So selfless of you to refuse a gift the docs are trying to give you!
Viv - ink for your birthday from your husband????? Hmmmm. Though it does remind me of me insisting on a mail box, though hubby didn't want to I stood my ground and stamped my feet until he agreed.

Rolanda, say hi to CynB and Mary from me!
Definitely need that foot bath Viv, thanks for that, but it will have to wait until I finish tutoring today....
I'm off for now, which means I will have to read all the pages I just read all over again so I can remember what I was going to say to everyone!

Was back a couple of pages catching up on reading. Had to find out exactly when Viv's birthday is. Seeing as she will be away at the time with no internet access, I think it is entirely appropriate that we all celebrate it early.
Party at Viv's!

Hi Suzy
Yes printer inks from my hubby.
It is something I needed desperately and I buy the pack for my Canon IP4300 that has four colours in it.
It also comes with about 5 pkts of 6 x 4 glossy paper I can use to print photos.
It retails for $78.

What else would you get the woman that has everything!
I hate that yearly question, "What do you want for your birthday?"
How would I bl**dy know, if there was something I wanted, I would have already got it. If there is something I need 1. I get 'that's not a nice present for me to give you' and 2. I would have already have got it!

yep sure did Suzy.
We operate on a tight budget here I can tell you so that is a really good present from him.
Are you relaxing now after your belly busting walk? I hope so.

LOL Gail, there's lots of things on my list of things I want or need but don't have, all of them boring and practical and not at all suitable as birthday gifts!

Yes, I'm neglecting my children and relaxing. Still can't decide whether to send Ebob to school tomorrow! The giggling that was going on earlier almost had me convinced, then she had to recover from it... Think I'll get hubby to make the call!

I remember the first Christmas I had with my future hubby's family. My soon-to-be MIL asked me what I wanted. I said a replacement large sized bowl for my mixmaster. She poo pooed it saying that's not a gift! It was what I truly wanted and needed, and being back in the days of NO money, something I would never get myself. She gave me a beach towel.
I never did get a replacement bowl!

D#3 went to school today Suzy, but fortunately tomorrow is parent-teacher interview day so no school for her. Friday is the last day of term which is a half day, so she will probably stay home that day too.

Gail, I won't buy my mother anything that isn't practical. She has entirely unpredictable taste and can hate something you'd think she would love and vice versa. But she is living on a pension and so practical stuff is always welcome!
