Liz, that sounds like my sister. She brings cleaner with her wherever she goes!

I can't think of anything that I have to have, other than clothes of course! A little makeup (don't wear much anyway), sunscreen and oil of olay.

My kids that are away at school all wear flip flops into the shower. They will be so used to it, they probably won't go barefoot in a strange shower when they get older either. It never even occurs to me!

Hia MizT
Can not even imagine ever wearing a pair of Crocs out, think I will have my one pair for life, have been wearing them for close on 2 years, and they dont even look scuffed on the sole, but then I never wear out shoes.

Stella, yes, real thing, Crocs brand, my daughter sent them to me. I tried on fake wall mart lookalikes, NOT the same! Crocs have a different material entirely, and it feels totally different. and WONDERFUL hehehe. They actually keep my feet warm in winter, without socks even.

Brendan's team has a game tonight. I'm saying a prayer that he gets to play. He doesn't know why he's not playing. In the one game he was in, he played great, saved two goals and drew a foul for a free kick. There must be something about his style that the coach doesn't like. I know last year the coach only wanted them to boot it out of the defensive area and not maintain possession or make passes(which is what Brendan is good at). But we thought it would be better this year, not worse. It's just hard to see him so disappointed since soccer is the main reason he went to that college!

Liz, for a year, I wore nothing but this one pair of crocs, arthritis in feet made all other shoes torture. NOW, I can wear other shoes, but I do not want to hehehe. I am old enough to eat desert first and wear what is comfortable, to heck with fashion.

Stella, is Brendan there on a soccer scholorship? I hope he gets to play also, am sure it would be hard on him.

My grandson is missing this season, was injured in a game or a practice or something this summer. Broken leg and dislocated thumb, leg in a cast for 3 months and then to see if he can rehabalitate. he is on highschool team and a youth development team and one other I think. I cannot keep up with soccer, it is alien to my brain hehehe I know he is still going to practice, daughter mentioned that in last phone convo.

Stella, fingers crossed here for Brendan too. I think what he is experiencing almost sounds like a form of discrimination. Is there anyone he can talk to to try and find out why?

Nite Gail, and good to talk to you also! Hope hubby, daughter and kitty are all doing well!

STELLA, my crocs actually were on sale hehehe. Daughters fiancee was working at athletics goods store, and they had a barrell of just black Crocs on sale. He also got employee discount, so they were inexpensive. Daughter got a pair also, he bought for both of us. Huumm, must see if she wears hers, if not, she could send them to me hehe.
