Ruby, don't you sometimes wish there were more than 24 hours in a day? Then they wouldn't be so rushed...

BTW Queenie -
on post #1000, too!
June - glad you had some quiet time on the puter...sending healing wishes to Sharon again as I'm sure she'd like to get well enough to get home...and you with your house back to normal.
Bean - good of you to drop by and sorry you had a funeral to attend. Never fun.
Viv - great news about everything being benign so far. I think Rolanda's boys need to stay with Ethan for awhile - he'll not only be doing his own laundry, but cooking like a chef!

hot cocoa and chocolates for the DUGs (and DAGs)...although I do believe there's caffine in those treats, too

Back again. Patient and G'daughter both in bed.
I am noticing all the extra cooking and washing!
Had a laugh with my sister as how much extra we spend on our children when they are sick and need extra care. (Her daughter had breast cancer two years ago). Not complaining and we both know it is appreciated and better it is spent on the families now than leaving it to them when we are gone.

It is so cool here this a.m. that I have my sweater and sockies on - and I love it! Might have to close some of the windows at night if this trend continues (which I hope it does). We actually got some rain (well, about 18 drops...I heard the "plop plop") a couple of nights ago. Didn't even wet a whistle, but it's a start!

Vici, I am no different to most Mums. We all do all we can for our families. Just wish I was a bit younger and without back problems and it would make it much easier.

Hi girls, just a quickie before I go to bed.
Vici, the 'forum' that they on easy are referring to is simply the easy page (and this site as a whole). They are just applauding Gath for providing such a wonderful site that people from everywhere can interact, as they have been doing so well over the last couple of days.

How did you enjoy the movie and your time with Beanie Baby?

Was wongerful as usual. As she mentioned, another tear-jerker.
We have started a new thing when we watch movies -
'He can put his shoes under my bed anytime'!
Mind you, we know have to start a shoe cupboard, there are so many of them! Two from today's movie alone!

Greetings to Sudoluland! Vici, thanks for the coffee and just one small chocolate please, goes so well with coffee.
June, Glad Sharon is feeling better. what did her doc say about her, other than taking out stitches. I hope he addressed her constipation problem, that can really cause a big OUCH.
VIV, sounds like a big OUCH having fluids asperated. Did the doc offer any advice about how to speed up the body's ability to absorbe the fluids and get back to normal? Such things we do have to endure to keep body healthy, but at the same time, so glad it is possible.
Mariana, hope the cold is better and soon. WASH HANDS about a million times a day, and practice safe coughing and sneezing, to keep the tribe from catching colds also.
Yeah, Suzy, many thanks for remembering I did not empty my dishwasher, I knew I could depend on at least one cyber friend to write it on her calendar, why am I not surprised it was you? hehehe.
Weather is playing tricks on us. It is almost autum by our reckoning. Autum is cool night time temps and warm days. Mother nature got that part right, but Autumn is also lower humidity, crisp clear weather with the brightest blue skies imaginable. NOPE, we have complete cloud cover, cool temps and high humidity, miserable, I cannot get comfy. Humidity makes me feel damp, sweaty, cool makes me feel wet and cold. Where Are My Wonderful Fall Days? Who Stole Them?? Please Bring Them Back, we do not get many a year, and I miss them terribly!
A funny, yesterday and today, hubby felt the need for a long sleeve shirt over his scrubtop first thing of a morning. He found MY sun protection long sleeve shirt hanging on the hook by the back door, and has been wearing it. Convenient, and poor baby, does not know how to find his long sleeve shirts. He said all were moved to the closet in the former "office in the house" as opposed to the current office in the dome. Said room has his good junk scattered about ( I do not go in there) and in front of the closet door. Now dear friends who have known me a fraction of the time hubby has, a question for you. Would MizT, or MizO as Vici calls me, remove EVERY long sleeved shirt from his closet?? And put them into a closet whose door has been blocked with dead computer parts and skeletons for way too long, so he has to clear the floor before he can get to his long sleeved shirts? MEN!

Good morning all! Just trying to catch up on all of the pages!
June, I haven't caught up on the past yet so I don't know what the op was for, but I hope Sharon recovers quickly and she is in my thoughts and prayers! You're a great mum and grandmum!
Suzy, I hope Ally did good in the spelling bee and Ebob does good on the test!
MizT, yes men will deflect the blame whenever they can!
Hope everyone meeting together has a great time!

I should go and get some work done. Brendan asked me to look over his essay for any grammatical errors he may have missed. Bryana sent me one the other day and we were laughing so hard that tears were rolling down our faces(me, Max and hubby) She had to write about a person's body part that she knows. She wrote about hubby's feet and it was so funny!
Anyway, have a great day!

Vivacious Viv... Great News! I am So glad that it was benign. Compared to that worry, the fluid is a minor inconvenience.
Since IH is gone today, my hired handyman and I got the calf into the pen with the rest of the herd. The crazy cow is still loose, but we don't have to work her tomorrow anyway. I can catch her later to sell her. It is always SO much easier to move the herd when Idiot Husband is not around. He has this knack of getting the herd to stampede in the opposite direction that I'm trying to move them to (I know. Don't end a sentence in a preposition). I cannot stop a stampede. Like the one he caused yesterday. ARGGGGGGHHHHH! Tomorrow morning, we give the calves their booster shots, preg check the cow that IH let escape last time, castrate the one calf who hasn't been done (and that IH intentionally let loose last time, before we worked him) sort out the cows we're going to sell, and sort out and weigh all the calves to wean them.
I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

Tricia, Dr said the meds should not be causing the problem and she seems a bit easier now. They left the catheter in too long so she is getting up every couple of hours during the night. Does not want to use anything for bowel because of the op to the intestine. Things will slowly improve.
