Hi Brenda, Liz and eaa!

Dreary day here but much warmer, 47F.

Getting ready to make the trip to Brendan's game but it is still not definite. Mapquest says it will take about 5 hours, so we are waiting to hear if he will start or not. He'll find out at the team meeting at 1pm. They arrived in Atlantic City yesterday. If he starts that means he definitely plays. If he doesn't start, then he could still play, but there is no guarentee so hubby does not want to make the trip. Either way, I hope they do well!

Suzy - I loved your snail story! When I lived in Monterey they were all over my garden. I would gather them up in a bucket in the morning while they were out and walk down the street to a big park with a lake, ducks and geese. I'd deposit the snails there...giving them what I thought was a fighting chance!

Edna Almost Average, Did you ever find the sandman? I hope he found you and you got some sleep. BTW, are you almost average up from the bottom of the scale or from the top of the scale down?

Sandman is not doing a good job here either, leaving only a bit at a time! I would love a good full night's sleep, and wake up feeling normal. Know I am not gonna make normal but a close proximity would be fine.

VICI, nice of you to give the snails a fighting chance. Getting ready to leave? Have a safe trip and hug everyone for me, even Keith! Find some good statues for a group photo if you can! I love his statue photos, so fun!

stella i hope you get to go to the game. i love going to the kids sport things. we have driven 14 hrs to go to benny's track meets. it is a great excuse for a little vacation. drive safe and stop to smell the roses along the way.

i am so jealous of rena, vici, mamac, and all the other getting to go to sudoku meet and greets. really, have a splendid time and don't start up any little "inside jokes" that the rest of up won't understand. i just get even more jealous.

liz i had a goiter for about 6 months. i have a pic of it on my page. it is one of just me. my neck looks rather manly!

the pic is when i was a few months into the healing process. at the beginning it was the size of a jumbo egg!

Oh, Mariana, my daughter took that for a short while and ambien was not good for her. she did the sleep walk and sleep eating without remembering a thing! Another friend of ours almost burnt his house down. He was doing the sleeping/eating thing, and decided to warm up something on the stove in a plastic container!

it is soo strange how the same meds can work for one and not for others. I am glad Alison was OK with it. Knowing me, I would probably be eating, sleeping and walking all the same time, plus throw in a few more exciting things no one has thought of yet.

hmm, my day today. it's friday, i feel good about stealing my hubby from the kids and going out. i'm trying to think of something to do. i gotta cook at home cause he is sooooo sick of eating out. but after dinner he is all mine!

there were more cuts for benny's basketball team. there are now only 3 juniors left! benny is one of them, but he is a bit nervous cause there is one more finally cut today. to my little boy!
