Blast Off

WELL DONE ROLANDA !!!
Oh dear, 1.38pm now. lol
I must go outside and have my lunch.
I have done the whole house with the sucky thing !
I have washed all the floors.
The washing is all done and some ready to bring
inside shortly.
I am printing off the 'Easy' and 'medium' puzzles and will do these while i have my salad roll and coffee for lunch.
Back later.
Must think of something yummy to cook in the outdoor stove too.

just getting the family room back into some sort of normality, by folding up the chinese laundry ( all #1 son's washing finaly dry).

I'm taking a sanity break before the insanity begins. In the last half an hour I have picked up an extra 3 guests one of whom I have never met. Lucky I made a couple of extra mocks!!

I have done as much cleaning as I'm going to do and I left the decorating for the kids who have arrived early - Ally was at another person's birthday and has brought a couple home with her. The actual party doesn't start for an hour.

Hubby is still hard at work mowing our lawn - it's kind of big. d1 has been 'helping'. She pushed the sucky thing around, and then I did it again... have got to get her better trained!!

Suzy.. it is always best to leave the cleaning till after the Party !!

My coffee is empty already!! Don't think one cup is enough...

Depends how dirty is was before Rolanda!!!

Aaahh! d1 has just filled all of the food bowls ready for the party - an hour early! It will all be nice and soggy by the time the rest of them get here!

Hubby has just called 'uncle'. He has done as much as he is going to do too.

Thieves have stolen a truck carrying $50,000 worth of chocolates!!! I am suspicious of sudokuholics who also tend to be chocoholics... They didn't mention what type of chocolates so I'm not sure...

It's over!!! Noone fought, noone was injured, there tonnes of food left over so noone was hungry... my two extra guests were goths!!! They were 'too cool' at first and kept trying to entice d1 away. I said she couldn't go. They asked why not. I said you can go if you want, but she's at a birthday party. Before you knew it, I had goths playing pass the parcel! Tee hee.

BTW, I can smell the chocolate on your breaths!

All that worry for nothing Suzy. But then that is something we all do. Glad it all went so well.
Had a chat to my son who enjoyed his trip to Paris. His luggage was 'delayed' on the way over and it was hard living in the same clothes for a couple of days.(he arrived on a Sunday and no shops were open)

Suzy, so happy the party went so well, and all had a great time! It is nice when you can return guests to thier respective homes in the same condition they arrived hehe.

I just lost a post, got that "page cannot be displayed" thing that someone mentioned yesterday.

It was a very nice post, and now it is somewhere in cyber space all alone, poor thing!

Morning all! I collapsed last night and slept in this morning... BTW I know a young girl who likes to be the boss, but she is so nice, kids don't mind. INVITE HER TO ALL YOUR KIDS PARTIES! She did half of my work last night, organising games etc...

One surprise last night - an 11 year old who lives about 500m down the road from us was supposed to walk home - at 7pm, in winter, on a street with one street light. Hmmm. Hubby drove her home.
