Ok, Vici, so where is everyone staying in SF? Kathy and Rob convinced me to attend the gathering (didn't exactly have to twist my arm!!), but I think I'd prefer to stay in the city rather than out by the airport where they'll be. It would be nice to be close to some of the others, so if you could fill me in I'd appreciate it! (I would ask Keith for this info, but I know he only has sporadic access to the site on his trip).

I am really excited about this chance to meet you and so many more of my Sudokuzzins!!!

Thanks for the welcome, but those were NOT my mushroom photos! (I do have some I might submit, if I can figure out how...) However, I've discovered the wonderful world of mushrooms, and (like most other things) there's a lot more to them than I ever imagined! Many thanks for dropping by and making me feel at home. Thanks for your comments on my pictures. You wouldn't read about it though, I ticked the pictures to edit them, and I hit delete selected instead of edit selected, and they all went missing. After quite a lot of cussing and things magically flying across the room, I have managed to replace them, and added some others. Please feel free to drop back for another look and I'm sorry for the mistake.

It's great to be welcomed here in such a manner. I'm starting to settle in and feel like part of the family. You never know, I may start posting on the pages soon! Hope you're there for my virgin post....

Hi my twin. That top I am wearing in my photo is called a "Letitia" top. It is UnderCoverWear that I used to sell. They give all their clothing a name. I was attracted by the back of it and the colour. Love the purple. Pity I look like I am a having a baby when wearing it.!!!! Now if my boobs were smaller................ cya

Thanks for dropping by. Yep, thought I'd have five seconds to myself this morning when I "popped" on. Then himself yells out "you're not on that b@#$%y computer again, are you?". Of course I wasn't!! Now, he's outside cleaning up before the next storm, so he can complain in a couple of days, when the branches and debris are back all over the yard again.!!
Haven't managed my virgin post on the main pages yet, but I am working on my avatar (any suggestions?) and going thru some pics to submit them for the puzzles. Thanks for the suggestion to send them in. I'm still finding my feet and having a lot of fun in the process. Have fun doing your errands. We've just done ours. (saturday afternoon here). Thanks again and I hope to catch up with you soon.

Hi, Vici! Haven't seen you around the site today, so thought I'd fill you in on what appears to be developing for Sunday in SF. Several of us have decided to go to dinner together at Fisherman's Wharf (probably Alioto's). I know, I know! It's "Tourist Trap-arama", but it's something you just gotta do once every 3 decades (in my case, anyway)!! If you're available and game, we would LOVE to have you join us. Let me know, because I'm sure I'll need to make reservations. So far, it's Sue (and her son), Ouima, Linda and me. I haven't heard back yet from Kathy and Rob or Dorthea. Shosho and Keith and Lynne will be gone, so I think everybody's accounted for, but if not, please let me know!

Further to your next comment about my 'versey mind'. I first started regularly writing verse in 1985 - so I have writing it, on and off, for about 23 years. It gets ingrained.
At least it keeps my mind alive - even if the rest of me is dying off like deadwood !
By the time I am 100 I shall be a walking mind.
[Is that the same as 'a soul'? If so, do you think it will have wings or horns?]

VV- I remain in awe over your illustrations of comments. Your recent ones are spectacular - and they get better and better every day.
I appreciate that you must have a huge, well-organised bank of superb-quality mini-pictures. Fantastic!

Hi Vici, just dropped in to say hello. Haven't been on for a bit, have had hubby in hospital, and they're worse than kids when they're sick!! Have posted a couple of comments on the pics of the SF meet. They're great. We're currently planning our next visit to the states (next year), so, hopefully, would love to catch up with you guys. I'm going to drop by Keith's page and introduce myself, and beg him to consider another get together around May next year. What do you think my chances are?? VICI, I found Water for Elephants today and after 7 pages know I am going to like this book, then hubby picked out 2 books for me and you know, one is perfectly me and the other is one I would pick. He has not done that in forever. Nice change.

Hi Vici - don't worry about the Skype call - it was an accident and I hung up on it anyway. I had installed Skype on my laptop last week and thought I'd better install it on the PC as it also has a webcam now and stuffed up somehow and the next thing it was calling you. I wouldn't call unless you were here on site and we decided between us to Skype. Cheers x

Oh Vici - I was away submitting avatars and smileys and now I find that you tried to call me and I didn't know - to be honest I don't know what happens anyway - maybe I was outside having a ciggie.
