Loza - I have just now this minute (2:00 P.M. Dec. 6, 2006) read the nice verse about friendship you posted for Judy of Bendigo & me back on Dec. 4. It was very nice along with your personal comment, too. Thank you for YOUR friendship and good wishes.

Loza, Merry Christmas. You might recall our last Sudoku flight to Napa went a bit out of control. The first class cabin is being repaired now, and we'll be ready to cruise around the world for a New Year's bash at 35,000 feet. Extra security will be onboard to tame even the wildest party animals. Put on something VERY sparkly; tell us the airport nearest you, and we'll fly in to scoop you up!

Loza, hi and Happy New Year to you! As you well know, Big Sur is on the central/upper west coast of California... so sorry you were socked in by fog. It's God's country up there with many marvelous resorts. A bit north/northeast of Big Sur is Monterey/San Francisco/Napa Valley. Napa is best known for its many vineyards and wines. Don't miss the next shuttle. We love it there!

Hi Loza. Are you a New Years Eve baby? Wow, and of course, happy birthday!
As I'm sure you are aware, 2007 is around the corner. A whole new year coming up, and so much will happen during this coming year. I do hope that you and yours enjoy peace, happiness, good
times, (chocolate for those of you who indulge), and should there be some sorrow that befalls you, I do hope you weather it well and stay strong and positive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I like Jabberwocky so much I am going to put it on here, with proper spaces 'tween the verses:
JABBERWOCKY
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
'Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!'
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
'And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Hi Loza!
I haven't visited in a while, so I thought I'd pop in. Nice to see you posted Jabberwocky. I've always loved Lewis Carroll, as my mother used to read Alice in Wonderland to me as a child (a long time ago). Hope all is well with you.

LOZA, Thanks for visiting my page, Lovely to hear from you.
About making avatars, if you go to the forum you will find a file on Members Help with special features. Here is a short cut.
http://sudoku.com.au/QXH3-4-1992-0-MEMBERS-SPECIAL-FEATURES--HELP.aspx
Angie wrote the most concise way to find and work with avatars. I have some information posted there also. If that does not help, do let me know just where you are having a problem and we can try to go from there.
Now, if you would send me a private message with your e-mail address, I can make and send you a name avatar that is ready to submit, with instructions on submitting. Lots of the members (Gail, for one and that is a name avatars I did, just above this post) started out that way and then graduated to making thier own.
