Ah, Broni - you just made me cry with "I still know who she is". There are a number of partners who spend their days at the home where Mum is, visiting their spouses - not getting much in return. But I understand why - and that said it beautifully. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the holiday wishes except they belong to Kate/Melbourne!!!I'm actually almost "home alone" at the moment husband & baby(27yrs) are both (separately) OS at the moment H comes back from Vancouver on Sunday but son's away till near the end of the month. I'm not quite alone because I have Ralph with me, but he misses both of the others (possibly more than I do!!- I'm enjoying my own time-he misses the romping & ball play; also it's been too wet to throw balls in the last few day!!)
