Back at Christmas time I posted the news that grandson Chase was going to become a big brother in July. I am happy to announce that his baby sister Maddox Ann Martin was born at 6:09 P.M. on July 27, 2015. She weighed 9 pounds and measured 21 1/4 inches long. We are thrilled to have a third granddaughter (the others are 19 and 16!) and six grandsons and feel very blessed.

Merry Christmas Kathy.
I've been bottling in my kitchen today so have just cooked up a few cyber bottles as well.
Just thought I’d drop you in a bottle of home made LEMON CORDIAL. It’s fantastic with water and with soda water. Cheers.
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.5 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off the heat and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven ) bottles

Kathy, I just took a pre Christmas stroll through your photos, very nice. Prague is probably the favourite european city I have visited, so far, but your pics make Budapest look interesting. I will try and persuade hubby that we should go there in our camper van this spring.

Wishing you and your family peace, love, and joy this Christmas and throughout '2007'
Thank you so much for your good wishes for Jim and I. He is wonderful! Hopefully when I come back in early 2007, you and I can meet. I would really like that. In the meatime, have an Orange Juice (Florida of course) for me with a touch of Vodka would be nice. Happy Holidays !!

Hi Kathy, thank you for your warm compliments on my humble photos. Please feel free to use tham as you wish.
Yes, I have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of travelling. My wife is a Brit and I have cousins in California, Oregon, Colorado and one in Canada, so we are always looking for an excuse to visit the 'rellies'.
Thank you for your Christmas wishes and may I wish you and your family all the best for a happy Christmas and a bright, healthy New Year.
Cheers,
Ian

Merry Christmas, Beach Lady! Love reading about you and tennis. Since I got to Florida I have switched to golf - not as much exercise! I 'talked' to Suzanne; she is coming to Punta Gorda in February to see her dad and would like to try a get together with you, Ed, any other Fla Sudokuites. Maybe a good project for the New Year! Enjoy the holiday.

Thanks to the folks who wished Rob a happy birthday yesterday. The tables were turned when two of you (Ed & Mamacita) called HIM instead of me! We had a nice quiet day - a movie, dinner out, gift opening, a triple berry birthday pie (he likes pie better than cake), & fun time playing Family Feud with our youngest daughter & boyfriend. Today back to Christmas mode. Local parties tonight & to Orlando tomorrow morning. Whew, what a month!!!

Kathy, I'd love a beach date. How about Fort Myers? You guys figure it out, I'll show up. Gulf coast would be best for me, as I have to visit my dad, and will only be there for about 5 or 6 days. Think Nal, Jim and the east coasters would be up for coming west?

This is a little late for Christmas, but may still give you a chuckle. When Santa's not out delivering gifts, he has a second job on the side!

Hi Kathy, Hope the holiday was all that you could want it to be. Yes, I did talk to Mike and they are planning to leave for Vegas on President's weekend, since their anniversary is on the 22nd. If I were to come to Fl. I would have to stay in a hotel while there, which is a possibility for a day or two. Is Ocala anywhere near you and Ed? That's where my girlfriend lives, and if its not too far, perhaps I'll visit her for a couple of days. I was afraid the dates were going to make it difficult for me, but its not over yet. I'll check with Nal too for the best hotel rates then.

Kathy - thanks so much for remembering our appointment and for your well wishes. It means a lot. We are anxious to hear what the doctors say. My mom is in constant pain. It is weird to be so far away from my family. Today is my 20th Wedding Anniversary and I would so much like to be home with my husband. My sudoku friends help fill the void. Thanks so much! I will think of you tomorrow as we drive up I-75 near Tampa!

Hi Kathy. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. 2007 is around the corner. A whole new year coming up, and so much will happen during this coming year. I do hope that you and yours enjoy peace, happiness, good times, (chocolate for those of you who indulge), and should there be some sorrow that befalls you, I do hope you weather it well and stay strong and positive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Kathy, On this the eve of New years eve, I wish to thank you for your welcome, friendly attitude that helped ease the way to my becoming a part of the sudoku family. Without your reaching out to me, I don't think I would have remained on this site. Had this happened, I would have lost the opportunity to begin the process of making friends and getting to know the many wonderful folks who come here. May the new year find a way to bring us together so that we can build on the foundation of friendship that has begun. May the New year treat you and yours to all that is good and true, but knowing that difficult times will also appear, may you have the strength and fortitude to deal with the inevitable, without undue stress. God speed as we greet the new year ! Peace be with you!

Hi Kathy, Happy New Year. Re - the Bowen technique it is best to Google it there is a very good british site and also Australian where it originated. Can't explain how but it certainly works for me. Hello Kathy - thanks for visiting my place and viewing my photos and for your lovely comments.
I feel very privileged that you chose your trip to South America with a little bit of influence from my photos. I just hope you have as wonderful a time as I had in Peru, which was my favourite place that I visited there.

Hi Kathy, thanks for popping by and checking out my handy work.(lol) No I'm not a professional Seamstress, I leave that up to my sister. I did make all the tops, and accessories but not the skirts, and the boys costumes were made by their own mums. I am just blown away by Bob's assistance. I had only chatted to him on site in the chatroom and his willingness to purchase 3 hats and mail them to Australia (prior to any payment) is something you don't hear or read about these days. His trust and faith in me, has just amazed me. This site has only reconfirmed to me that we live in a wonderful world filled with wonderful people.
Cheers for now, and I'll pop back in for another visit soon.

Hi Kathy. I was surprised to get a message from Noemi on my page that mentioned she and you are virtual friends. Seems we have lots of 'lurkers' on the site (to use the Aussie term) who don't normally interact with others. Nice to know you have been in touch with some of these people and promoting virtual friendship. Cheers to you!

Hi Kathy, Great picture of you and hubby. Or, is that your tennis coach...LOL
Sorry I didn't get back to you with an answer regarding the Niagra Falls. There is a revolving restaurant on the Canadian side of the River that looks down on the Falls. I have other pictures if you are interested seeing them. [dave@wingsofgold.com) We loved our two visits there. I did not remember much when I saw them as a kid.

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the visit .
I am trying to make this page working - today I added some kind of welcome - I guess it worked, so I will make some changes
I am quite busy now - writing my Morocco diary, starting to prepare PPS , tomorrow I have guests for my delayed b-day party ( I came home exactly on the day - so had no time to prepare ) . My house has been full of flowers since last week - it's great ! I got your e-mail - will answer to it later /
