Hello, it's meeeeeee. Have logged onto D's computer. Life is hectic, but I'm OK. Snow day today so grandies are home.

Hubby had an interview last night for another job (part-time) and he thinks it went well. I am sore (back, shoulders, hips, etc.), but I am coping. So Tami, I will try and log on here from time to time. Haven't had a lot of time to read.

MizT - hugs.

Suzy - hugs.

June, you said something about it being quiet on here, and was it because Theresa wasn't around. Are you insinuating I'm chatty????

Be back in a few days hopefully.

I received updates from both MizT's sister and Joy. I know MizT has been on to explain things, but it's good to hear it from others perspectives.

They put Al into an ICU room last night. Tricia & Joy got to go in to see him once after they got him situated. Tricia did get home last night. Thankfully, the flood waters receded. Joy took her to the dirt road & a good friend (Eddie) met them there & took Tricia on home.

Haven't heard anything this morning. I think Tricia can call the nursing station & probably will when she wakes up. As in all ICUs visiting hours are very restrictive, so I don't think she is going to go back up there until this afternoon.

In addition to problems with breathing due to pneumonia, Al is having some problems with low blood pressure. Hopefully, they'll get that back to normal soon & the antibiotics will again do their job on the infection. I'll post again when I hear more.
And from Joy:
I just called for an update. He is still in Medical Intensive Care (MICU). I spoke with his nurse and Dr Ferguson just made her rounds. His blood pressure is better and his oxygen levels have improved to 97%. She said he is awake and alert and watching TV. They are currently waiting for Dr. Ferguson’s orders to come through but he is definitely improved and doing better this morning. They are doing breathing treatments and they have him on IV antibiotics. He is improving and if I had to guess, I’d bet they are going to move him from MICU today. In my opinion, he seems to be doing “too well” for MICU.

I would be quite happy to move here..
trying to do 2 pages is too hard and disruptive to a conversation.

I think I'll let others finish the other page - it's getting a bit cumbersome even for my new and improved connection..

Let me know what you think of it Suzy as I have had it installed for months and never tried it. Once I am comfy with something I tend not to change. I think Richard uses it.

I have taken the plunge myself Suzy and have tried Google Chrome... wish I had done it sooner it is faster than Firefox which I had been using and it has transferred all my bookmarks with one click.

I didn't like it Brenda, it was faster, but I couldn't switch easily between pages - possibly with some time invested in tutorials...

It is a similar system to Firefox and I think the newer versions of explorer, using the tabs to open different pages.

Hey people, no need to get your knickers in a knot. My D borrowed her MIL's laptop. My D is too kind not to let me use her stuff. My SIL has a laptop, but he takes it to work with him every day. So you see, there was a reason, and not a nasty reason why I couldn't use her computer before.

D has gone for her first physio appointment today. She is doing better every day, but I imagine she'll be more sore than usual after today's appointment. Still not walking much, but they did tell her she would need to use the walker for at least four weeks.

I am OK, but very sore. No chance for naps any more. But I do sleep like a log at night. Gotta run, just doing some cleaning up at my D's while she is gone ... catch you all next time.

Judy, sorry for your loss.

Greetings friends. think I will post both pages till we finish off the 600 on 9A, cause I just do not know where to post.

AL REPORT, nurse said he was doing OK this morning. vitals stable, but mucus has turned bloody once again. thinner and easier to cough up, that is good, means breathing treatments working. Roger is on his way to visit at 10 and 12, I will go up at 2. Doc has not made rounds, so he will stay in ICU until she makes rounds, possibly this evening. He is getting excellent care there, so I am not unhappy. Limited visitation is forcing me to stay home and get some rest.

Cold cold over night, near freezing, but today is sunny and warmer.

Must get a bit more done here, I have dekrow some on laundry and kitchen. but more clothes to shuffel around, hang out, fold yesterdays.

Hugs to all , till later.

Morning all,
MizT, glad you are getting some rest and that the breathing treatments are working.

Brenda, Google Chrome is faster and I am learning to use it - still having some troubles, but I'll get there.

Theresa, Sorry to hear there is no time to rest. I for one can't wait until your D is back to normal!

Suzy, my sister used to live up near where Susan lives and they could get heaps of rain overnight and no sign of it next morning.
Pleased your daughter is starting her physio Theresa. Nice that you get the chance to keep in touch. I was not inferring you are "Chatty" (but we all are here) it is just each post generally generates several more.

Had Laura stay overnight so the order was pikelets for breakfast. Nowadays when you buy eggs they are generally brown. As a youngster it was a treat to get a brown egg as we only had chooks that laid white ones. The eggs I bought yesterday had one white egg. Laura was so excited as I do not think she had seen a white one before!

Almost all eggs in CA were white, unless you bought organic or something like that. The brown ones make colouring eggs for easter a bit more challenging..

Maybe I should 'blow' the egg and keep it for Laura to colour. Thanks Suzy. I remember Sharon trying to but white eggs last year.
