MizT, I have sent you a couple of Emails. Did you get them? I think I might be off to bed for an early night. Picking Laura up in the morning. She went to a school disco tonight.

I did get little things done. I loaded Anita's tedderer on her wagon for her (a tedderer is used for turning cut hay over in the field to help it dry before rolling or baling it). I gave IH a lesson in loading the smaller tractor onto the 16 ft. trailer, and did it for him to show him. I mowed the area in front of the house outside the yard, and around the hay barn. And I thinned some of the water plants in my pond. I need to climb in there to do more thinning. I did what I could from outside the pond. Now I need to cook up some blintzes for my supper.

Great blintzes. I topped them with sliced strawberries from my garden and slathered that with strawberry apple puree.

Hi, Everyone!

I read many comments and planned to respond, but my head has other plans. I'm not sure if it's just that I'm tired or if I'm having a reaction to the Shingles inoculation I got a couple of days ago. The site is itchy and welting, and I may have a bit of a fever. I'm off to bed. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, positive thoughts, prayers, healing vibes and for everyone!

Kind of a quite day today here. I slept as late as I could and still do the few things leftover to be done before Linda came for inspection. Quickly got those out of the way. making bed was no fun, and one reason it does not get made most days. Had a nap in my chair waiting for her.

I have found my new medication makes me sleepy. If I am up and moving, it is not a problem, I can even drive unhindered. If I am not busy, if I sit down to watch TV or read, I will fall asleep after a bit. That is the why behind my short naps today.

Linda did more talking and showing photos of her home garden and looking at my window garden than inspecting hehehe. I had nothing to report, no maintenance problems here, so it went quickly. Then I was off to the meeting room downstairs to celebrate first day of summer with a picnic lunch. Since I was late getting there, I took the first available vacant space where my chair would fit. Later discovered there were lots of seats outside on the patio and even on the lawn, under set up shade gazebos. The weather was perfect today, lower temps, humidity, and a nice breeze blowing. Hot dogs, chips, salad, and lemonade, with ice cream sandwiches for desert (sp?? one or 2 esses?.)

I had carried water down when went for lunch, so I watered all the outside plants, the ones in the sun needed it. I got more nice comments about my adding plants to the patio and the parking area, where none had been in forever. I had one lady offer to make a motion at residents association to repay me what I had spent. 'We have money set aside for the garden'. I asked her not do that. I would have spent that much and more if in my own place or even if I had a balcony here. I am accustomed to spending for plants, budget for it so I have some excess money come spring. Besides, if it is my money buying plants and containers, I can do what I want. People say thank you, not find fault with how I spent thier money! 'I saw pots at ---- for half that price' (I bought self watering pots that have a water reservoir built in and they are much more expensive than plain plastic pots) or 'you should have bought sunflowers instead of petunias' or some such. Nope it is well worth what I spent to not have to deal with that, or wait for a committee decide what I should buy, thank you please.

Had a planned nap mid afternoon, and then I fell asleep later waiting for Joy to arrive with dinner. She was late getting here, as usual. she brought chicken, potato salad and cole slaw, with little snack cakes. Mine had a candle, a LIT candle. she came in saying 'hurry and blow this our, I want you to be able to live here for a long time'. Any open flame is a no no here in apartments, even scented candles are forbidden.

Heidi, you got a lot done for someone who did not do anything today hehehe.

June, I checked e-mail, nothing for you. I sent an e-mail to you so you would have the addy I use, in case that was the problem. I did send you a thank you through

June, I checked e-mail, nothing for you. I sent an e-mail to you so you would have the addy I use, in case that was the problem. I did send you a thank you through the greeting card site, hope you got that.

SUZY, liked the TOPP, I got a chuckle and a smille.

I will not name names, but Joy was surprised and delighted at how many of my friends had liked her latest profile photo on TOS. She had to find the post and read off the names, and had me tell her where each of you lived, and other information. Another of her 'they did that for me and I do not even know them' kind of things, and so very sincere too. I gave her a hug and told her it was from each of you. I know I will forget someone, but that is my bad. thanks to Gail and Theresa and Rolanda and Broni and I know there was another couple, sorry I forgot you, but thanks to each of you, that simple click gave pleasure to a very nice young lady.

OK, I am sitting still, I guess moving my fingers does not count and therefore I am sleepy again. Hugs to each of you, with extras. Till later.

I woke up with my body aching, a sore throat, and my eyes caked in who-knows-what so I can barely see. I think I have a bug.

MizT,I realised I was not getting any Emails at all. Problem now fixed (I Hope). I have lost my car keys. They have fallen off my house keys. I think it may have been at the big shopping centre. Ken was driving but I did have my keys with my and I did take them out once. I have rung that shop but will go and see them again today. Because they are computerised they cost a lot to replace. Bummer!!!

''Bummer'' is right, June. At least nobody will get to use them since they don't know what car they belong to.

June,I am happy you were able to get your e-mails working again. Hope it stays working.

Mama sorry you lost your posts. That is always a
bother. Good to see you here, even if short and sweet.

OH NO, not those computerized car keys that are missing. I do hope they turn up. I found just one such key not long ago in parking lot at Lakeshore, and turned it in. I hope someone finds yours. I just noticed recently that my car insurance has key replacement as part of coverage. Have you checked yours to see if it is covered? This was not something I had asked for, or something agent had pointed out, it just 'came with' some feature I did want. No deductible on that feature either, that is nice.

Caudelle just came by for BP check again. It ws in the almost good range again today. We had a nice little chat while waiting. I get her to wait about 15 minutes after her walk down, pressure is always up just after the walk, what with her knee hurting so badly after walking. Did I say she will have knee replacement surgery July 1? That 15 minutes gives some chat time

Hugs to each of you, with extras, till later.

What is a computerized car key? Apparently, it's not what I thought. I can't keep up with technology.

Heidi, basicly, a key that has a fob or built in section of the key with a chip inside.

At the moment I seem to be getting Emails but cannot send. They just sit in my out box. I did get a couple from you Tricia.
Heidi, when I had my handbag taken and we had the locks changed on the car. I think that cost about $700. The keys were one of the less expensive ones and they were about $80 each. They then had to be cut, then computer programmed. It is all security to stop someone taking the car.

Uh, oh. Mama is still having problems posting.

Another cruddy day. I keep having to rush to the bathroom with the ol' Aztec Two-step. And since it's a scorcher outside, I can get dehydrated very quickly.

Got a little done today. Very little. Except a lot of sleep.

I notice a lot of people seem to be having trouble posting lately. Does this mean it's time to pack up our chairs and move to SA 11? Do you remember how to do that, MizT?

I was just thinking the same thing Heidi. I will check it out soon. I think I remember.

Julie, it is good to see you pop in to let us know you are just busy. I think this is the longest busy spell you have had, ever.

June, a sign of our times when the less expensive keys are $80. Did yours that you lost ever appear?

I do think the new med the doc has given me is helping. I still need the pain meds, but now, after taking them, I am completely pain free for a few hours. That is so strange, I find myself stopping just to soak in the feeling, no pain? what is that, says my brain. Just not accustomed.

Be glad when I can get the nerve conduction test done. hands still going numb, and arms are hurting now also, strange kinds of pain. Get one thing going good for ya, and something else goes bad, that is life I suppose.

did not do anything much today. I wanted to invite Jean and Myra to coffee and cake tonight. I made the cake (German chocolate with cocoanut pecan icing, to go with pecan coffee), did up all the dishes, mopped kitchen floor, had my shower and shampoo. Time all of that was done, I was achey so I went for a nap. Maybe having all this done today I can invite them tomorrow??? We will see. Tomorrow morning is Lakeshore, taking my chair via EP bus again.

Hugs to each of you, with extras, till later.
