Look, I've been critical of pooters and internet caht sites etc but you can't fight the tide. I enjoy myspace cept most of my 'friends' are my kids mates!

As far as I'm concerned, it's up to you if you prefer chatting - or not.

My children are young adults. I don't even know if they have a myspace page.

You're asking the wrong person! As I said D#1 set it up. I just go to my page which people can only access when you approve them as 'friends'.

I guess being able to choose your 'friends' on myspace insures some safety.

Julie, D#1 went to a bonfire with the neighbor boy across the street. She called saying that he didn't realize that they lived so far away and he doesn't want to drive home tonight. That leaves her stranded! She doesn't mind too much because they are best friends, although she did tell me before she left that she was looking forward to a good sleep tonight and sleeping in tomorrow.

Does anyone know what day vdV was on the parent page? I missed it!

Wow, that was weird! I refreshed and LOST about 10 comments. My next refresh brought me back, though.

Stella, I hope daughter #1 gets some sleep, though it won't be as good as if she were at home, and of course, she won't be able to sleep in. But it's great that she is responsible and lets you know what's up - and not when it's 5 minutes to curfew.
