Won't tell her Mary, I know you will get treated like royalty while you are there. We have to get organised so we are all in the same place at the same time.

MARY from Brisbane, when was that book written? It sounds familiar, but I have not read much in the last year or so. Just wondering if I had already read it??
I looked it up, yes, that is one I have read. I see it was on Hallmark Hall of Fame, earlier this month, a remake movie, and i missed it! Oh dear. It was a very good book, enjoyed that one. I would have enjoyed seeing the movie i think.

OOOPS, I forgot the coffee, pardon me! Coffee is ready, and tea and choccie too.
another warm and getting warmer day today, maybe a bit more sun than yesterday at times, but the afternoon has potential for "pop up" thunderstorms, a ture summer pattern.

Loved the Shell Seekers...have many here to catch up on since I've had too little time for pleasure reading lately....book discussions at church have revolved around church strategies and changes....interesting, but not really 'pleasure readin!

I've done it again....Good Afternoon everyone...so busy thinking about the up-coming pictures we'll get to see, I forgot to greet you first! Sorry....
I'll be glad to get a new pooter or at least a new kewboard since mind doesn't space between words all of the time and I often forget to make sure spaces are where they should be....Makes for hard reading at times...

I haven't been reading much lately either. Blasted computer! I also blame hubby's TAFE as I am staying up later and am too tired when I go to bed - the time I have traditionally read the most. I did pull out a copy of Under Milkwood the other day and scan through looking for some of my favourite bits...

Goon maeN Sudoluland!
We had some T storms roll across the state tonight, just rain here. Some hail, few trees down, a few scattered areas without power in other prts of the state. BOY these T storms lately really have some lightening and thunder, lots more than I remember from past years. We could hear some of the bigger storms around us, many miles away, and the thunder was just rumbling continious! I am glad those were not above ME.
Of course storms and we lost TV and internet for a bit. TV i can understand, myst have a clear view of the southern sky, it is satalite. but the internet is DSL line, and noone has yet esplained why it gets flakey, fading in andout, when we ahve storms.
Catch you on the flip side,

What a hectic weekend we've had..
I am still recovering! It was wonderful to meet up with Broni and also June at Cockatoo... our two interstate visitors. It was good to meet a couple of Melbournites that I hadn't met before.
My photos from Sat aren't very different to anyone elses. Will let you know when I have reduced them and put them on my page.

One definite highlight of the weekend was the visit to Gail and to meet Broni and some of the Melbourne sudokuists.
We had to leave early but I believe the party went on for quite a while after.
It was great food and excellent company.
I will look at other people's photos and if I have anything different will post when I have time to get over the trip and sort them out.
Gail.

I've just caught a (very fat) mouse in my wild bird seed bin. It managed to get in but couldn't escape. I'll have to take it for a ride in the car and release it into the countryside, where it can find a new home.

June, you are too kind. It was a great day, wasn't it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was so pleased with the turnout.
I am so grateful for all the efforts everybody put in, with coming up all this way and the yummies they brought, especially your cheesecake (which was the only thing left! 1 piece which Hannah had for breakfast the next morning!)
Nice pic of you and the snake.

Goood Maen sudokuland!
I am offically old today! I am now a senior citizen and have a card to prove it. MY medicare becomes effictive today! How did that happen?
I am off to the chiropractor today, if I have insurance, I shall use it!
I have a stiff neck and I have had a migraine over weekend, first of THAT in about 10 years, so maybe " getting my head put on straight" will help. Wish me luck, this is a new doc, and I hate breaking in a new doc of any kind! My years long chiro is no longer practicing, boo hoo, and I have been looking for a new one already with no good results.

Good afternnon all! Haven't been here in a while and I fear there is so much to catch up on that I don't have time to do so. Been crazy trying to make room for the girls coming home and did not succeed. Also, once hubby cleaned the garage and I painted the shelf, everything else looked terrible, so I had to paint the rest of the stuff. (well, at least the door and railing.) And I'm still not done!
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm off to take D1 to the mall as tomorrow (today in Aus) is her 20th birthday and she needs "stuff" before she goes to Cairo for the summer.
Take care and have a great day!

MizT hope you have found the right chiropractor this time. Do you get any benefits from being a senior citizen? In the Uk our senior citizens get free bus travel, they get a fuel allowance of £200 (£300 for a couple)in the winter and a xmas present (I think this is the massive sum of £30 but could be wrong)
They also get free eye sight tests, I'm sure there are other benefits but cannot think of them at the moment.
