Picked up Mum, from the Airport last night (midnight), she is fine, tired.. My brother is ok... extremely tired, as is my SIL. They are all glad to be home.

one more and Mary, Lynda and I get to sleep in an extra hour in the mornings.. Daylight Savings for Western Australia ends tonight.
Gail, CynB, Bean, Dino, June, Madby, Broni, Jenni, all have to wait till next weekend for Daylight Savings to end

Hi Rolanda, Don't you like the dentist? I am OK as long as I do not have to have an injection.

I think I have had that extra hour already Rolanda, as I ent back after my 7.22 post and went back to sleep. I think it just makes the enenings longer so welcome the extra week.

Petrified of the Dentist!!
I put off going to see him for years.. and ended up having a bad infection that took hold, and I end up having a 5 day hospital stay a couple of years ago..
I now go every 6 months, force myself to go, make the next appt before I leave the present appt....

Thought I had better go and collect my chair if I am going to hang around here for awhile!

generally tooo hot here to really enjoy the evenings June, glad when the sun has set..
and as for the mornings.. at moment the sun gets up at 7.30am.

must say, the room is looking great with everyone bringing their own comfy chairs..
Love all the new ones.

Rolanda, I must admit I do not go as often as I should but have almost gone to sleep a couple of times with the new drills etc. Not like the old bone shakers they had 50 years ago! That was when I hated the dentist!!!!

I notice Suzy has got herself quite a colourful collection of comfortable chairs and I think she may have paintd them herself (inherited her Mother's talent?)

sleep at the Dentist while they do the work.. would be noice.. am tooo tense to !!!

just said to hubby, I think I need to go and take Mum grocery shopping.. will ring her presently to suggest that!
Dinner last night was lovely, caught up with our friends T & T, havent seen them in ages..
Tonight we are having a Picnic/BBQ tea on the River foreshore in South Perth with a group of friends..

I think I had better go and get myself organised. Hubby has gone to bowls and I have not even had my shower and dressed. Had some ex work friends for lunch yesterday so had better empty the dish washer and put my good dishes away for a start.

I am pleased your family got home OK and, other than the trip to the hospital, hope they had a good stay in Sydney.

Hello, Everyone! I'm so excited to be sitting at a computer again! Things have been exceptionally crazy around here. My computer didn't even recognize me. You started SA4 and have already reached page 23 since I was last here. Very belated birthday wishes to Stella's Mom and Happy Anniversary wishes to Suzy, I think. Stella, I'm so glad "Max" was able to march in the parade at Disney World. It will be a happy memory for him.

June, I hope your hubby is doing better! Interestingly, a neighbor called me yesterday and asked what I knew about kidney stones, as she thought she might have one. I told her that the people I knew who had them had excruciating pain. As pain wasn't even mentioned in the first 5 minutes or so of conversation, I don't think she needs to worry.

Suzy, congrats to your Mum for selling a painting! That must be really exciting!

Bean, the wedding sounds like it was wonderful! Good luck on saving enough pennies! (Here are the pennies from my coin purse.) Congrats on your TOPP!

Sorry Julie I have been emptying my lily/fish pond and putting in fresh water. The pond, 100 litre ceramic pot which has been waterproofed,does not have a filter so has to be cleaned a couple of times a year.

Hubby seems OK now ie no more pains. And you are right, your friend would be in terrible pain. The stones have sharp edges and they scratch some very sensative parts around the kidney and associated areas.

Bean, you chose a great chair! Looks comfy! All the talk of chairs prompted me to drag mine over here from SA3.

Becky, that's great that you are planning to help out with the wedding reception food. Was the caterer who had been hired doing it for a reduced rate as a friend - or just found it easy to blow off a friend for perhaps a bigger and more lucrative job?

CynB, I like the chair and footrest! They look very comfy, and because they're somewhat dark, won't show chocolate fingerprints very easily.
