Mama wonderful news about your sister being able to travel, and for her diagnosis being treatable. I have just looked on the forecast (upto Wednesday) and the temps are rising steadily 15C on Wednesday, hopefully that will continue for your trip.

Good morniong all! Snow still covering everything but the sun is out. Too cold to melt it (25*F) but it is supposed to warm up slowly during the week.

CynB, sorry to hear about your business. Maybe a better offer will come along.

Mama, glad to hear that your sister has a diagnosis. Certain types of ulcers can be cured with antibiotics. My father suffered with them for 45 years and then they told him they could be cured. You have to be careful though because the antibiotics are very strong and without yogurt, they can just about kill you. Have a wonderful time on your trip!

Julie, welcome back! Oh my gosh, you must have spent hours going through all of the posts. I didn't even know half of that information!

Rolanda, your renovations look great, although your bathroom looked lovely the way it was as well. Not too many new houses over here bother with tiling any more. They're very pretty but a lot of work. Did you make any mosaic tables or anything with the tiles you took out?

Max got his tooth pulled. He wasn't feeling great afterwards, so he didn't go to school. By the time it stop bleeding, there was only 1 1/2 hours left any way. Hopefully, this will do the trick. Although, now he is still a little swollen and he looks like he has a black eye.

We had to bring the car in again and it was another big job.

Sudokuland! Itis an overcast, damp day, but should warm up as the day progresses. and RAIN is forecast, been a bit since rain, that would be good for my newly planted containers. A nice geltle rain is so much better than watering.

Suzy, saw your post on Easy re the pony. Suzy to the rescue again! Good job! If you're not comfortable around ponies, then you probably wouldn't like to visit Assateague Island in Maryland. My hubby's family camped there every year and I went a few times. The island has wild ponies that roam around. You could be lying on the beach and a small heard would run through. It was a sight to see. I only got close to them once. I wasn't sure what a wild pony might do!

everyone. You forgot the tea this morning, MizT, so I made a pot.
The world outside is quite white again. All that white stuff was melting nicely and now it has come back.
Amber and I are off to the States this afternoon for her friend's birthday party. Now I have to remember where I left the passports.

Stella hope Max is feeling a bit better now that he has had the tooth out. Assateague Island sounds a bit like the New Forest in the Uk. The ponies run free. We once took the caravan to a site there. We had to be careful what we left around the caravan as the ponies used to wander around between the 'vans and tents looking for things tastier to eat than the grass.

We lose an hours sleep tonight as British summer time begins at 1am. Unfortunately the weather doesn't agree with the summertime, it has been cold and wet today.

Mama, I forgot to say last night how heartened I felt by your post. I am so very pleased they were able to put a name to your sister's illness, that it is treatable and that she will be right to travel.
Please pass on my best wishes to her.

Hubby said last night that we put the clocks back. Imagine his surprise when I told him it's not till next week!!!

Yes, Rolanda, it was - they came back with a proposal for us to form a partnership with them and effectively sell half the business. I ask you WHY would we agree to getting half ($) of what we expected, still all the worry and involvement, but answerable to someone else for every penny spent. No way Jose. We're sure when we return a negative response, all negotiations will fall through. Still advertising, still getting nibbles - someone will buy it sooner or later.

Tcnb ....Stick to your guns...you are so right...wishing you both the very best! Great basketball tonight topped off with my sister being discharged from the hospital....now we can get down to some serious preparation for the trip....as if I hadn't been getting ready forever....lol. The trial Suzy mentioned is the NSW bodies in the barrel case. Two horse trainers, I think they were, were murdered and their bodies were taken to a state forest to be burnt. Google it for more info.

Beautiful ady here. Went to junior Baseball presentation. (Ken's U/14 team lost the grand final a couple of weeks ago) and then home picking up about 100 grapefruit the cockies had pulled from the tree.
