The photos of the dome construcion are fantastic. How long does it take to 'put one up'? They can be used as modules in a bigger house design, can't they (as in more than one can be used)?

OH, gotta tell you just this one more. My scooter kitty just fel off the computer tower! did you know there is no place for a sharp claw to gain a hold on a computer tower? And did you know there is no way for a momie to rescue a falling kitty baby who is falling without risking injury? Been there, done that, did not even try this time.

Oh, I get it! Mine has been steadily going the other way as well, but it is having a negative impact on my injuries and bones in general. I have not been capable of doing anything about it. I need to be hypnotized or something!

Gaail, yes, they can be put together in groups, using any combination of sizes. I think he builds any from size 16 to size 50. A 50 would hfit into a 25 foot diameter circle. I know there are photos somewhere of clusters of domes. OH, on my photo page, sis, our ' soimeday" house is there, 3 domes with square room extenders and connecting rooms. ours is one story, high ceiling, but larger domes are 2 story. maybe we should take this discussion off the board, this is Gath's board, not our website.

Mizt I've just had a look at your photos. Some lovely pics of you. Love the tree decoration you made, they must look stunning hanging on your tree.
Jewellery making isn't something I have tried though I have friends who do it. As I rarely change the jewellery I wear anything I make would sit in boxes gathering dust as a lot of my rings do now.

I'm back from errands. Dozed off behind the wheel again. I was very lucky not to have an accident.

Hope scooter kitty doesn't take her fall out on your mouse! Poor puss!
Heidi - You're scaring me! I'm not happy about you getting behind the wheel if you are going to doze off. Been on too many accident calls to want to ever know one of you go through such a thing!

Viv Twin - I am so sorry to hear about your hubby being laid off.
My niece is head of Human Resources at her company and they are downsizing. They want to lay off people this week and she is FURIOUS that they won't consider waiting until after the holidays...but she has her orders.

Bean and June - I, too, work to look for the positive. I must say, that if I look back on my life and review what I thought were misfortunes at the time, I find that everything I walked through turned out to be a blessing in hindsight. Of course it is hard to hold that when we're going through the difficulties. I think feeling our feelings is the first step. It's OK to feel sad or angry or scared.

When I'm going through intense emotions I really try to breath through the feelings and turn off my thinking. My brain wants to add stories and "what ifs" and fear to my feelings. If I can disconnect my head and just go to my heart, it all moves through me. I end up breathing intentionally a LOT during those times.
And I truly use prayer - I ask for help ALL the time!

Morning all!

I’ve woken up this morning with swollen eyes – like I’ve been crying all night. My guess would be an allergic reaction to something. Now I just have to work out what!!

MizT, it was an associated press article…. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=668717. They say oral as well as topical and I thought of your allergy and jumped up and down!

Cyn, Lachie, Cyn’s Mum, Broni and Vicki – I’m still 2 pages behind and I’m hoping that somewhere in those 2 pages is going to be a message that you all made it through the night without damage!

Viv, so sorry to hear about your husband’s job. The lead up to christmas is a bad time to lose a job. I have heard that car manufacturers and dealerships are having trouble at the moment. Our mechanic says he is getting a lot less preventative work and a lot more emergency repairs now. None of that helps you with your worry though. Sending thoughts and wishes and hugs and I have everything crossed that something else comes along very soon.

Congratulations Liz! 4kg! Woo Hoo! Great news about Dandy/Arnie!! I’m so glad you knew someone who could take him in.

Brenda – 38lbs!!! Congratulations!

MizT, if you come over to build a dome you will have to find the south coast of NSW (not the far south coast, just the south coast)…

Just popping in to say a warm hello, I will be out of the office for the next few days on vacation so I hope everyone (who celebrates) has a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving and that you don't need to think too hard to find one something to be thankful for.

Take care all,
Aimee :-)

Stella – sorry to hear about Ian’s foot. It does sound like doc needs to take a closer look. And it sounds like you’re not doing much better… I have read that being overtired / not sleeping enough can cause that weight going the wrong way thing, and with all of the travelling you do, I wouldn’t be surprised if you said that was your problem…

MizT - ditto Gail – poor Scooter Kitty!

Heidi!!! Don’t do that!!! When can you sleep in again??

Vici, your sister’s company sound very normal. If they wait until after the holidays they have to pay for the public holidays. If they do it now they save money – that’s what life is all about isn’t it? Saving money?

Morning SA7, well me and my house are still in one piece. Spoke to Cyn last night and she was OK then. Could not get my puter fired up again last night UPS was playing up (dopey had the wrong plug in!)
Off to get ready for work.
Take care everyone, my thoughts are with you.
