No driving for me for a couple of days. I've got too much going on here. Tomorrow afternoon, we will be working the calves. We put electronic eartags in each calf that's going to the feedlot in Kansas, and weigh each one. The trucker needs to know the weight of the load.

Julie, I have my moments of flying off the handle. I had a lot of people with me when we found the car, hubby came to get us. Once I got home, I realized what could I do. no one got hurt, car would be fixed. It is no use crying over spilled milk. I did find out that an administrator at that school also drives a blue van. she was not there that night. we think her car was the target and mine was just a case of mistaken identity (cardentity??)

The best I ever got in scrabble was 163 points for "quadroon". It hit two triple word scores, and made several words off it.

I forgot who it was, but someone comment on the friendship here. That is the reason I keep coming back. When I am upset, or something happens, I know that my friends will cheer me up. This site is wonderful, the friendships are fabulous. I am glad that I stumbled across this page a few years ago. And am more thankful that Vici invited me into SA6.

Hey Bean, how about "pooteropolize" It is what happens when a person monopolize the computer so no one else can use it. Or how about "pootercide" the act of throwing you computer out the window because it is not acting the way it should.

Good maEn, SA7! Oh, dear, many pages to read tonight!
Hello, Brenda! Congrats on your TOPP and on your success with Weight Watchers!
Hello, Dizzy Lizzy! Congrats on your Weight Watchers success also!
Hello, Vivacious Viv! I'm so sorry to hear of the change in your hubby's employment status! I'm sure that will put added stress in your household. Sending hugs ((((Viv)))) your way!
Hello, June! You are an inspiration to all of us! I'm sending lots of encouragement, prayers, and hugs ((((June)))) your way also!
Hello, Gail, Bean, MizT, and Stella! You are also sending good advice to those of us who could use it! Thank you for your thoughts and efforts!
Stella, I hope Ian's foot is OK! Will he need to see a specialist?
OK, folks, this isn't going to work. The batteries in my mouse are apparently as tired as I am. I will do the best that I can using the up and down arrows, but I won't be able to click on "More."

Heidi, I was just so relieved to get some answers. I can handle this fine. Might explaine why I could not loose weight for several years.
I love my doc, he started naming all these drugs he could use for the adrenaline overload, and I knew scary things about all of those. Al told him that in the past, she has taken 1.2.and 3 without problems. Doc said, Oh, I can do 2 for this, and it is one of the wal mart $4 drugs, too! Took one when I got home, had a nap in my chair. One more for when i finish here and am ready for bed, and one just in case I need it during the night. I think I might get a bit of sleep tonight!

Heidi, I had left over curry and noodles and hubby got it ut, heated it up and served it up for me when i got shakey just before dinner time. After being gone all day, came in to breakfast dishes soaking in the sink 9 well we were not planning on going today, you know) and YUCK smell, you know what I mean, old dishwater smell. told hubby, we have clean dishes in Dishwasher and dirty dishes in sink, which one do you want to take care of. He said, Oh, I will get the clean ones! and promptly did! anybody surprised at his choice???
one good thing, I now get a bedtime snack, must have 4 meals a day if not 5.

I am just so happy for you, MizT. I know diabetes is not a walk through the park, but it is easily manageable. This diagnosis will be a life changing event for the better. Sleep, again. Control over your life. Fantastic. And they have all sorts of cool meters now, too, to make monitoring easier.

I missed a puzzle with Fibonaccinumbers? OH NO! I have a quilt done using fibonacci numbers and golden proportion. I think it is on my page, the one of the quilt on a park bench. I named the quilt fibonacci squared. the girl who got it and her hubby got as big a kick from the name as the quilt.
OH OH, on criminal minds last night, I figured the answer to the location of the victims relied on fibonacci numbers just fore they said it, hehe.

I don't think you could say anything to upset this crowd, MizT. You don't seem to have the Foot-In-Mouth disease that I have, that has started a couple of major wars on this site.

Heidi, medicare gets to choose the meter for me I think. I go tomorrow, IF the lady who will instruct will be there.
Best lifestyle will be sleep, and see, did not need to get your mono to get some. Oh, al was asking me if i got much sleep last night. told him, I do not know, i was sleping. hehe.
I had been up in recliner with book and quilt. noticed the clock, it was 2 hours later, noticed my book, only 4 pages read. I assume I was asleep, I am not tht slow a reader hehe

Have finally caught up with reading.
MizT, I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis - perhaps not the one you wanted, but it's always easier to deal with something that is known, rather than unknown.
Heidi, please be careful driving! Have "been there; done that." One time the gravel hitting up under the bottom of the car woke me. I was on the opposite side of the road, having gone from my lane, across the other lane, and onto the opposite shoulder. A quick check in the rearview mirror showed a car going the opposite direction that had been able to avoid my car. If he blew his horn, I didn't hear it. I'm not supposed to drive anywhere more than a 15 or 20 minute drive by myself. Hubby says I have occasionally been asleep (in the PASSENGER seat) by the time we are out of our subdivision - about 3 or 4 blocks.

Hi Julie...that is such a worry and so dangerous...my dad suffered from narcolepsy and it was scary stuff driving with him. Providing I've had a decent sleep I am usually ok but have experienced the awful feeling of arriving home after working all night and not being able to recall the drive at all...or the last thing you remember was sitting at the traffic lights a few streets back. Not an uncommon occurrence amongst shift workeres...everyone seems to be able to identify with it.

Hi, Rolanda! How is everything going at "Hotel Rolanda"? Thank you for the pictures of Rena and Amber! They look well-rested, inspite of hectic schedules! (I noticed because of all our discussion about sleep or lack thereof.)
Bean, I have sleep apnea, so rarely get a good night's sleep. I understand narcolepsy is very hard to deal with. I think there is a medicine now for it, but don't know how well it works.
