That was a lot of hard work to get a T O P P
My poor Mum had (I think there called pabloma's)
all over the soles of her feet
struggled for years with those rotten things
and never got under control
and the pain she suffered when they had been burned off
could not stand and weight bear

Ive heard - but not sure if true
that we might be going to stage 4
in our water restrictions,
no water to be used outside, unless recycled.
another trade going to go under the plant nurseries.
I am doing all I can, I now flush my toilet with shower and laundry recycled water,

Sorry Liz, I was doing puzzles. Nothing special about me. Just a Mum. I admire Stella and how she drives all around the country watching her family play sport.
Congrats to all loosing weight. I need to join you. Have you been to the health and fitness page Liz? Also under forum.
Hope all the Bribane friends survived the storm OK.
Tami, sorry to hear about your car.
Heidi. DO take CARE driving when you are sleepy. Your life is more important than the collection of animals and what would happen to them if you were not there to care for them.

Back again - empty house!

But I won't be here for long - I've agreed to... gasp... go for a bike ride - I'll be riding pillion! I forget what type of bike it is, all I can remember is that is 650CC and big. Kind of like my yellow car...

Liz, 15 posts in a row! That must be close to a record. I have read that people who object to the recycled water plans are using the current storms as a part of their argument. My little brain ticks over and thinks 'what about when the storms stop?' We haven't been on restrictions for a long time, but I have also read (I read a lot!) that our regular usage levels are below Sydney water restriction usage levels. That statistic was early on in the drought though and so all may have changed. I have a Sydney friend who was almost hyperventilating one day over a friend's callous indifference... She apparently likes to have a green lawn and put in a grey water system so she could keep watering it while there were restrictions. She wanted to water it, the tank was empty, so she washed a load of clean towels so there would be grey water available...

Hi Mamacita! I can't help you with the photo thing other than to tell you what I do when that happens... I go to the Start menu, All Programs, and look for something on the list that seems like it might be related to my camera (or phone). I usually find it eventually!

Here they can Liz, when restrictions are on the Rangers can fine people. The problem is they have to catch them in the act! Hubby used to get calls about people breaking restrictions - he works for the water company here. One guy used to wash his car every day - on the driveway not the lawn. Another used to hose his driveway every day. Another trick is to put up a 'bore water in use' sign, only it's not really bore water being used...

Suzy surely from the usage, per house with an ammount allowed per person,
if this is like doubled they would know something doesnt add up.
on our bills down here they give aprox usage for the size of the garden and ammount of people living at the residence,
I'm always way below...

Morning lovely SA7'ers.
Just checking in to let you know that I too survived the storm - noticed Broni has already. It turned out not to be as bad as the previous 2, except for a small town in central Qld called Blackwater. They had a lot of damage. Another big one forecast for tomorrow night.

Viv - one for you too, sorry

Off in a few minutes to go shopping with my daughter for that big event, starting with 'c' in late December.
I have NO festive spirit this year because hubby has decided NOT to put up the lights, as he says, due to lack of interest. Bah, humbug!!

The are having a blast in the snow. There's nearly an inch on the ground already. Even 15+ year old Faith is playing a little!

Viv... can't give advice about the relationship. I'd probably be the worst one to do that. I DO have a suggestion about the job loss. He should just go into business for himself. Do what he does best, but with less mark-up than Toyota (and I'm a loyal Toyota customer). Both IH and I are our own bosses. Much more job security that way.

NOW, about the dozing off. This has been a major problem since the Mono started. I can GENERALLY stay awake while driving with large doses of strong coffee frequently applied. But even that doesn't always work. This is probably the worst problem with the Mono.

Lizzy... I think what your mother had on her feet were Plantar's Warts. They go in instead of out, and are VERY painful to walk on. And really hard to get rid of.

HEIDI, so glad I do not have your snow. Hope you enjoy it. We will have a cold sunny day tomorrow.

Well, I had an urgent doctors appointment today, and a huge bunch of tests later, got the diagnosis. I am diabetic and also had the adrenaline overload. Two things going on at one time and no wonder they could not sort it out.

OK, I get the award for weight loss of the week. I lost 12 pounds in 10 days! Nope, not healthy, and do not want to do it again, ever. but with the adrenaline and elevated heart rate, It was as if I had hours of aerobic exercise a day!
