It is just about lunch time here. Have been sprucing the house up for next week's arrivals. What they see is what they get...I just hope they don't open any cupboards!

Very wet outside and quite chilly. I have had the fire going again for the last couple of days. Sure hope it warms up a bit for Rena and Amber's visit.

I have three house guests coming over about 10:30 tonight. I have never met them but I am hosting them for my son's youth group. They won't drive on Friday and I live in walking distance.

Just for tonight. They are in middle school. A high school kid will walk them over and then come back in the morning for them. They go home tomorrow night.

Understandably he is feeling shell shocked but he has already put the word out so we are hoping he finds something soon.
He has just taken Ethan to the beach for the arvo and then Ethan has scored an extra shift tonight from 5 to 10pm. He works tomorrow arvo too.
It is 30c or so here and very very humid.
I have just pushed the V***** around. Phew.
No more of that VV. Too damn hot.

Will be dragging out the bikini shortly I think.

If you haven't taken your teenagers to Nebraska to turn them over to the state because you can't do anything with them, it's too late. They closed the loop hole in their new Safe Haven law today. The law wasn't two months old and they have gotten some 25 teens and tweens, but no babies. It certainly speaks well for our mental health care. (What mental health care?)
