Everybody. Woke up with a very sore throat. (Did I get it from Ebob?) I hope I don't lose my voice before the big auction. It starts in less than 4 hours. I need to be able to talk 'cause I'm bidding over the phone. The auction will be shown on the internet at LiveAuctions.TV. It's called "Legends of the Fall".

It's so cold here! Not compared to winter, but for this time of year it is ridiculous... 9C, apparent temp 1C...The wind is nasty too. Just had to pick up my grandfather's orchids. They were standing on a table which was blown over.

MizT, I have a friend who had to live with one of those heart monitors for a while - it's no fun! My wish is that everything the doc needs to see showed up and you don't have to wear it again...

Heidi, as far as I can tell you are in the middle of bidding - hope you get your cows and calf! It would be nice if you got the 2 calves, though not so nice for the sellers...

Oh,I finally have an avatar...son did it but it isn't really the one I wanted.He was showing me how to do it,but he is no teacher and I am still none the wiser.

Looks like all the storms have passed for a few days at least.Now it turning into a beautiful day.

My part in the auction is done. I bought the 2 calves I wanted, and also 2 pregnant cows!!! I am thrilled!!! IH is going to have a heart attack when he finds out how much I spent. Hmmmmmmm...... maybe THAT's the way to do it.

Now to go feed the calves that I already have.

Just dropped back in to moan and complain... it's blowing a gale, raining here, but baseball is not called off... it will probably be called off sometime AFTER I drive over an hour to get there... grumble grumble

I just checked and the temp has risen from 10C, apparent -2C, to 15C, apparent 7C at the closest weather station to baseball. At least that part of the news is good...

SUZI, I found a way to kep the little monitor from moving around, I put on a lifting belt from days I once hleped Al move lumber/timbers, tuck the little flat bo and wires inside, takes the presure off my neck.

Yes, I think doc will have information, I had several of the "spells" or episodes, and had to fill in the time and what i was doing on the log , so they know where to look.
