Now further to the taking money out of Ethan's pay comment recently.
At that stage apparently this was said to scare the kids into doing the right thing all the time.
Apparently some people were burning the food and then eating it !
But then they had a meeting this week and she has now said to them that any mistakes with food she will be taking out 1/2 the retail price of the food from their pay.
I checked this out with the Industrial Relations Commission.
She cannot do this. The only way she could do this is if beforehand she has a written agreement with Ethan or whoever and they have signed it to allow her to do this.
Also she should have paid for his uniforms that he had to buy from her recently.
They are specifically for his workplace and cannot be worn anywhere else and have the shops logo and name on them etc.
But as I mentioned to this person I was talking too, like others that have made this comment, if I say something to her about either subject she may get narky and then it gets taken out on Ethan.
He did not receive a receipt even for the money he has paid so next time I speak to her I will be asking for this.

I had originally rung the I.R.C. to enquire about what termination payments hubby should be getting etc.
He was paid his long service owing to him, he was paid his holidays owing to him and then he got paid 5 weeks severance pay.
On the I.R.C. site it said if you have been there over 6 years and are over 45 years old you receive 20 weeks severence pay.
But this apparently is not right in hubby's case as the boss has put the reason for putting him off as shortage of work, he has not used the word redundant! Anyhow I am checking into this futher first thing Monday morning.

He is walking about here like a lost soul.
He only finished this morning but he just cannot believe that he is not going to work on Monday morning.

An old one Lizzy. It is called Microsoft Picture It Publishing 2001. I use a lot of my own images though from photos I have taken etc.

Ally bowled her first turkey last night! (three strikes in a row). I heard her practicing her solo song today and it sounded pretty - though she looked very why.

Ebob has a sore throat and is using it as an excuse to lie around. She's going to get a shock when she gets older and has real 'sponsibilities!

Someone is sneaking, Ruby was offensive (and it was gone before I saw it - drat!), Gail's hiding stuff in cupboards, Tami's Mom is here, Ethan is officially being ripped off and so is hubby (grumble grumble lets send up a posse!) Viv is in a bikini because it's so hot and Gail has her fire going because it's so cold - me too..

Becky, did mariana eat all the breadcrumbs? I thought for sure we marked the trail over to the new site.

Suzy, not only eat them, I had to plan them, prepare them clean up after and then write about them in 2 different places!! Also, I had to present myself at the offices of the cardiologist whose staff wired me up for sound. then go and get my glucose meter, with a lesson from a gal who knew less about it than a stone. Fun day! It wore hubby out, he came home nd took himself a long nap. who was the sickie here?

I am wondering, will the cardiologist be able to tell that 2 hours worth of my recording was done with a cat lying on my chest, purring. she was my nurse, and I have not slept so souldly in some time. ONLY place I can really sleep with this hopter monitor hanging about my neck. OH, was able to give the doc a couple of minor " spells" as my doc named them, nothing like the spells I had earlier in the week, but enouhg I think, enough.

Liz thinks Americans cook and eat funny. We were both eating egg sandwishes. she thought it very strange I had put plum jam on mine and i thought it interesting she put curry on hers. some reson that cury had to go on egg, and not the mayonaise. for our lunch, I made ham and cheese on whole wheat, and added curry to my mayo and boy it spiced up a sammy. when everything said 97% fat free, yep, could stand a bit of taste.
