I'm back in from feeding everyone. It's a little harder when everything is frozen, 'cause I have to carry buckets of water.

I haven't mentioned the auction to IH yet, and he hasn't asked. I think he has forgotten the date of the sale.

Heidi, might be nice to tell him before the cattle arrive, you think? OH, do the sellers deliver? or do you have to pick up?

Hi SA7'ers.... Hope this is a good day/night for you ...
Ruby...Just want you to know that I could never be be offended by you seeing me as a sparkling, diamond studded lady...lots of laughs, yes, but no offense taken....No need to have turned yourself in....
Fighting a cold, and trying to get my pictures all downloaded so that I can post...my puter is just not willing to work with me since its on it's last legs and knows it's about to be replaced... Hard work, and I'm not into doing much...

The cattle arrive tomorrow. The sellers are delivering them on their way home. I am so excited to see them in person. I've only seen them in photo and video so far.

Poor Bean. Nobody has ever died from a cold, and most people feel like they will.

Suzy, while you're freezing your butts off down there, we're in a sauna. Yesterday, it was 44 / 111 degrees in the house when I got home at lunchtime. By 5pm, it was 39 point something outside. I couldn't measure it inside then, as the air cons went all day, and going again today. It was unbearably hot and humid.

I try to minimise power usage so set them to 27/80 degrees. It's so beautiful and cool, even though the temp isn't that low, they take the humidity out of the air.

I'll talk to you Susan. I didn't realise it was that hot in NQ. It's not too bad here because of the windy conditions. Max 25c - I can manage that. I have our air con set on 24c but may put it a little higher. have used it twice in the past week.

Sorry - how rude of me - good morning (it still is in Qld) to all you lovely SA7 people.
Heidi - glad you got what you wanted in the auction. I love auctions but not the livestock type.

CynB, how about we jack up this old body and run a new one in under, Doc has tried most everything else.
It is cold here, really cold for this early in the season for us. I just could not get warm today.

IH just came up to me and asked "How did the auction go today?!" as if he just remembered it. I said "Great... I got the animals I wanted at the price I expected." I then showed him the show catalog, and the 4 that I got. He was impressed. I never told him what I paid. I hate confrontation.

'Ello, SA7! 'Ow is everyone?

Happy Birthday to Tami's son!

MizT, great idea for the heart monitor. I hope it shows what it needs to show and you don't need to wear it too long.

Heidi, congrats on 2 cows "with calf" and 2 calves. If IH is not there when they're delivered, will he realize they have joined the herd?

June, congrats on the TOPP! I hope all is as good as can be expected in your neck of the woods. Positive thoughts & prayers continue.

Nola, what a great new avatar you have!

It's nice to see you here again, Mary!

Hi, Mamacita! Good luck with the piccy download!

Improved health to everyone! There are entirely too many colds and sore throats here!

Heidi, congrats on Post #1111 and your CP - and having the dogs fed by 10 pm - and no confrontation about money spent with you-know-who.

I want to use my autumn oak leaves a few more times. The oak leaves are about the only ones still hanging on some trees. Most other leaves have fallen and been raked or blown or gathered in some way.

There seem to be some strange weather - as extreme temperatures - in Oz today.

We went to several stores today to view suggested C gifts for the grandchildren. I hope to do some of our shopping on line, with the store responsible for sending the gifts.

Afternoon all! I sat in the nice warm car with the windscreen wipers on watching Ebob freeze on the field... It was actually wind that I thought might get the game cancelled though. The winds are nasty today! Ebob came home with a souvenir - a ball size mark on her thigh! Got her to first base though, and eventually home. She also got to play 3rd base, which is a first for her...
