Suzy - sounds cold down there. It's mild but windy here which I think is bringing the temps down. The occasional gust of wind is very strong. I'll bet there's a few unsecured items being picked up by it around the area.

MizT, I'm impressed by your ingenious solution to carrying around the monitor! You should be an inventor...

That last comment went through despite me being timed out. A first for me for SA7 and something that seldom happens to me.

The winds today knocked over my grandfather's orchids! Knock branches out of trees, blow over the trampoline, lift the roof on the car port, but DO NOT knock over my grandfather's orchids!! He's not hear to grow anymore...

You seem like the type who can defend herself very well and so not need to avoid confrontation, yet you say you hate it and you do avoid it!!

I was timed out 3 comments ago too Cyn..

Gosh, Rolanda, that seemed to be over quickly! I'm sure they had a wonderful time at the Hotel Rolanda. How long is the trip east? They go to Adelaide first don't they? They'll be seeing more of Oz than a lot of us ever see. I still have to make it to SA, NT and Tassie.

Wow! They're on their way...better get those beds made!
Rolanda, did you get that email addy in time?

Rena and Amber will be arriving in Adelaide on Tuesday, They will be meeting up with Elsie for lunch, and then they are staying overnight at my brother's house. On Wednesday morning, they head out of Adelaide on the Overland train to Melbourne, where I will pick them up at the station that night.

Hi everyone.
Well yesterday in a bikini, today somewhat cooler here. Very windy and trying to rain. Weird weather for sure.

Oh please don't say that. I don't 'do' hot very well, certainly not while doing the touristy thing!

We have had years where we have had the fire going on Christmas Day! There is a photo on my page of the decking. It is covered in hail, so we had a White Christmas (there, I said it!)

Yep - a cool Christmas is preferable to a hot sweltering one. That's why we had air con put in a few years ago. Even if I try not to overuse it - Christmas day it goes on if the weather is above 28c!!!!

My grandie Madeline has her ballet concert this afternoon. This year she's nearly 8 and is in three dances - one is tap and the other 2 ballet. Pictures later if I can get one. If this works out my avatar should be her in her tap outfit, taken last year. (They recycle these outfits!)

Rolanda, just checked out your photos and it looks like you gave Rena and Amber a wonderful time in Perth. I am sure they will enjoy the rest of their time in Australia.
I had promised myself to go to Melbourne and I am disappointed I will not be able to be there.

It's bedtime for me. I'm tuckered out... busy day buying cattle, selling a ram (forgot to mention that earlier) and doing LOADS of paperwork to age and source verify our calves for extra monetary premiums (25 calves @$40 per calf).

Happy birthday for your son Tami and a welcome to Tami's Mom.

Sharon had a 2 hour leave at home yesterday and the afternoon today. Came out with a bag over her arm. Should be home during the week.
