Good morning lovely SA7 people - jumping in without reading all the previous pages I have missed. Hope all is well.

I also jumped in without looking at the number of posts and got a surprise TOPP - the best type.
Still busy today - hope to be back later during breaks from watching the Oscars - red carpet and ceremony.

Morning MizT - you're the only one showing in my friends box at the moment.

Everybody fed. Challenger REALLY wanted to come out for a drive.... I promised him tomorrow, but my schedule is hectic so don't know when. I probably need to get up early for it.

Thoughts and wishes to those Victorians going through another stressful day.

Are they getting those fires under control yet, Suzy?

Very bad weather today Heidi. There are far fewer fires than there have been, but the ones they have could threaten towns today and people have been warned. Even if nothing comes of it, which is what I hope for, the stress after what they have already been through has to be horrific.

Good evening everyone. I am back home safely and Mitchell had a great time in Atlanta. I am exhausted and will be going to sleep early. I will have to catch up on the reading tomorrow and update the TOPP list then. I thought I would come back and find SA7 gone, with no forwarding address. I am glad no one ran away while I was gone.

Thanks Suzy. Have my head in a paint tin so trying not to think about it all too much. Veeery smokey here again this morning due mainly to backburning in the Bunyip State Forest area.

I just about split a gut laughing. One of the contestants was asked to spell Gnome. N-U-M-B....... K-N-O-B....... N-Y-M-P-H.......... MIDGET????? Groucho gave him 30 tries, and figured he'd never get it.

Umm.... Rolanda...... Vici, not Vivi. I had a friend from Sao Paulo, Brazil named Vivi (Viviana). She died of cancer.

Those two... Vivacious Viv and Vibrant Vici .... can be easily confused. Both possible meanings.

Now for my last cow check of the night. Fortunately, with this lousy weather, we haven't had a single calf born in 1 1/2 days.
