Oh Suzy, I nearly chocked with laughter with your comment "I hope I don't have to deliver anything!". Ken came in to see what I thought was so funny.
Just had a lovely surprise. Kate from Sydney posted on parents page (photo of Laura with a snake). I have not seen Kate post or heard from her since just after Keith was here.

Don't tell me Theresa beats you in all the games on the other site. As I don't have her as a friend I only ever see your name at the top of leader boards, though I will admit that I have seen Suzy and Kate there a couple of times, when you have been away!

Well you are a hard person to beat on those games... I try quite often but have to bow out to a better games player .
I've just been talking to Broni on SKYPE it was wonderful talking face to face with her.

Hi Gail. I was VERY sad to hear about Liz Taylor's passing. She DID have lots of health problems over the years. Her family was by her side as she passed. She DID however, outlive several husbands!

Poor Liz spent her life in pain from her back injury that happened during the filming of National Velvet. (A great role, but horrible casting of the horse. It was supposed to be a piebald... a black and white pinto.... named The Pie.) The pain and pill addictions may have contributed to many of the short marriages. She was a beautiful, caring woman, tho'.

MizT, our snow accumulation was only a few inches. Most of our snow is gone except in those areas where there is not a lot of sun.

Brenda, I very seldom beat Gail in games. She is definitely the leader there. I miss playing those games .......

Theresa I try to limit myself on the games as I get addicted and 'waste' many an hour on them.
Today we have had a beautiful sunny warm spring day. The dogs even spent a long time outside lying in the sun.

Just lost a long post, not sure what I clicked, but it closed then opened the page. bummer. Long and short of it, I went to doc, we had " the talk" about a block, and now he dictates a report for my insurance. Might take another week for approval. We shall see. Doc's talk about a block was basically, "Remember your last one? It will be just like that.".

Now I wait. Hope it is soon.

I did several errands, cause I was " in the area" or going right past. I did get my milk and eggs, the voucher was dated for longer this time than usual and was still val9id, YEAH. then I dropped by the cancer center, to see social worker, for help in getting paper work to office, I done good, got an " excellent" on what I had collected for her. Good that I cold see her today without an appointment. I did have to wait a bit, but not long. On way home, I picked up one of MY prescriptions. Then home, but that is enough for one day.

Heidi, happy to hear that gill has a temp, will worry less about you if it is a bug going around. Hope both fevers and your foot improve soonest.

June, I do not play game either. I get requests for strange things and I have not a clue. Not enough time in the day now, if I had to worry about stew cooking in my restaurant, or ice melting in glasses or whatever, I would be here all day!

Same reason I do not look at the eagles.

Theresa, glad your snow is gone, mostly. Hope the cat is chipped and the owners can be found. You have enough mouths to feed.

RIP Liz, sorry to hear of your passing. Congestive heart failure can be rough.

Good one Broni, what indeed do pigeons do hehehe. Sorry Gail, but she did get you good this time hehehe.

Off to try to do something here at home, lets see, it is time for tube feeding once again, and get him walking and to his bath. Sounds like I am talking about a toddler, doesn't it?

Hugs to all, and remind me to give a spring reort next time, lots of new stuff in bloom!!

Just got back from my good deed for the day. Robert and I went to the "big city" and I bought a new mattress for his granddaughter's crib. We then delivered it, and I got to see the little critter. She's adorable! I told Robert that he's SO lucky that she doesn't take after him.

I'm feeling better today, but not 100% yet, so I didn't get close to the baby or touch her. I wouldn't forgive myself if she caught a bug from me.

NOW for a spring update. I saw so many things in bloom my last 2 days. Wisteria has really spread, it is into locations I do not remember from last year, a noxious weed, but such a pretty one. http://www.invasive.org/eastern/species/3083.html

It is almost as bad as kudzu, it covers everything. I saw one area where it was into pine trees being grown for timber, and the plants had managed to cross the road, both sides of highway had multiple trees with blooms to the treetops.

I saw iris in bloom, the white ones, they seem to be earlier than the colors. http://www.knowledgerush.com/kr/encyclopedia/Iris_%28plant%29/

Imagine about 50 0f these along a fence. They multiply, so you lee lots of them around older homes.

Plum trees in bloom. know I am forgetting some, but this will do for now. I need to go out on porch to cool down some, a bit warmer, well, more humidity and lots of sun, so my house is warmer today. Lovely breeze though, would have been a great day to hang out wash.

I cannot decide if I will have plants this year. At the moment, I have no outside faucet on the back of house, for watering my deck flowers. I do have one out front, but in summer, I have to keep front door shut to keep humidity and heat out, so I would not see those. I will see if I can get the faucet repaired, remember, this is the one that froze and burst when Al was in hospital in Feb. Once I get my back working again, I could install that, plumbing with PVC pipe is not difficult, and I know what parts I would need. Al does have a scissors type pipe cutter, I can do this. I NEED my flowers!

Hubby is home - I thought he was working tonight, so supper is not ready. He ate a sandwich to tide him over.

My SonIL is home today so I have the day off. It will give my back, hips and right arm/shoulder time to recuperate. They ache from having to help my daughter up. Actually I give her my arm and hand and she pulls herself up now. Physio told her she should not be putting more than 10% of her weight on her right leg.

Off to get some swearing done.

Hi all. Just popping in for a minute before heading off to bed. Devil Dog has decided I needed a new throw rug so he chewed up mine. Luckily it was the cheap one near the kids video games. Not a happy mommy this evening. Dylan was home with him and watching a movie and did not keep an eye on him. Oh, well. It has been busy and I have not had much time to myself. Should settle down soon. Have been getting some overtime at school which helps. That is going to end in three weeks. I am tired and going to sleep early. I will be back tomorrow.

Greetings friends. First an update on the spinal block. Doc came in, said you last had a block Novenber, 09. yes. Did it help? Yes sir, it did. Well, in the future you can just phone and tell the receptionist you have had a block in the past, and need to schedule another. We tired that. OH, insurance must want us to have "the talk". Have you had another MRI? No. Back hurts where? Lower back, radiating down legs. One more than other? Yes, right more than left, and I am beginning to drag that leg. Which is more the problem, weakness or pain. Pain. OK, you remember your lat block,? Yes, I do. This one will be just like that. now that we have wasted your time and mine, I will go dictate this and we can get on with getting this approved.
