Almost squeezed all my words in, here are the rest.

they do that after an ER visit when they do not keep you, you know, make you an appointment for your doc as a follow up. I do hope she is OK. I cannot believe medics came and took her away and I did not hear them! Only found ut about it when I was downstairs yesterday.

Hugs for each of you, with extras, till later.

MizT - Rummykub, haven't played it in years! Used to play it with Col's Mum and his brother. Karin and I spent a week up at the farm with them just after Col's Dad died in 1986 and the 4 of us played all day sometimes, with constant arguments over whose turn it was to make a cup of tea or lunch etc. Funny how the mention of a name/word can bring back memories. Rummykub!

Had a nice evening last night. My 2 cousins who live in Western Australia have come over this way to have some quality time with their older brother, the one who is losing his battle with cancer.
Last night the 2 of them drove up to Brisbane from Northern NSW to meet us and some of the other cousins for dinner. It was a lovely evening - 20 of us there, including my 93 year old Aunt and Uncle, the last of their generation. Great night, but tinged with sadness.

Back from the Cattlemen's meeting. We had a good talk on weed control in pastures and hay fields. There was a lot of important information.

Afternoon all,
Just dropped in to let June know that Broni was about an hour later than expected leaving - but she did get to meet Tahli!

Can't remember much that I read other than Rolanda is hot, MizT is wet but feeling better and her neighbour was taken off by medics. I hope she is okay.

I have the message Suzy. I had a meeting this morning. Gives me extra time to get some dinner for tonight prepared. I kept changing my mind what to have. MIL is back in hospital. They are going to put the camera down her throat to find out what is obstructing her from getting her food down. I told her when she was here that she has an Hiatus Hernia. It will be interesting to see what they will do seeing she will be 99 in four months time.

Suzy, I found out my neighbor was not admitted to hospital, she was treated and released last night. Dehydration, unsure of the cause, but it can surely make one feel as exhausted as she said she was. I am glad it was something easily treatable, and so glad she did call medics. Dehydration can lead to some serious complications if not treated.

My house is nice and clean, everythi9ng cleaned at once. I just cannot do that, but do a fair job of keeping it going between cleaning, doing something every day or two. I did get everything straightened, table tops cleared fore she got here today.

I am off to bed while pain meds are working nicely. Hugs to each of you, if you can tolerate the second hugs from me today . Till tomorrow.

Gekko my friends.
Had a wongerful visit with Zusy then a good trip up to see June and hubby.
Hope you are all well and happy.
Have a very happy tummy again tonight have been spoilt two nights in a row.
Not sure if I mentioned that I was going to have to a video conference from Sydney to Brisbane for an unfair dismissal case. Looks like they have come to an agreement so will not have to go into the city tomorrow and can continue my trip home.
Love and Hugs to you all.

Unfortunately I have to play bowls tomorrow. I am playing in the district triples. The first time I have been asked to play in that level of competition. It means I cannot entertain Broni tomorrow. If she does not have to do the conference I imagine she will get away early and see Viv in Port Macquarie.
I have enjoyed having Broni stay with me again.
Actually Broni is on my computer and I am sitting beside her on Ken's computer.

I get this warm-all-over feeling reading Suzy, June and Broni's posts. Isn't friendship wonderful?

I have a day to myself today. Yesterday got chaotic quickly, and I had to put my foot down when IH made an appointment for a tree removal man to come here for an estimate (after asking me if it was convenient to come, and I said NO) and then driving off, expecting me to deal with him. I refused to and he had to come back home to show the man around. Fortunately, IH is at the plant today, and I slept in. I don't know if he will be home late tonight or sometime tomorrow. My fingers are crossed that it'll be tomorrow.

Getting psyched up for my trip to North Carolina in 3 1/2 days. We don't really have room here for Maxine and her baby, but we'll work something out if they have to come back here with me. IH is already thinking about the daughters of several of his friends that he'd like to introduce Maxine to. She could really use some friends her own age, and from nice families.

I'll be driving to North Carolina on Sunday ... an 11 hour drive. The trial is Monday, time unknown as yet. Once it's over, I have to take Maxine to her Doctor's to pick up a prescription.( If the BF is jailed, I'll rent a U-Haul trailer and load up their stuff to bring back here). I then drive back here on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I've promised to haul a steer to the processing plant for a neighbor. Thursday I go pick up the cockatiels ... a 4 hour drive each way. After that, I'll probably sleep for a few days.

Congrats on the new calf Heidi. So glad this one looks healthy. I know you would find some way to make room for Maxine and the baby if need be. Hope this works out for the best, and right now, not sure what that would be, ya know?

Suzy, June and Brodi, how good you got to visit. Sudoku friends are the best.

Broni, glad you did not have to go into town for that video conference. It sounded tedious at the least.

June, good luck at bowls, I hope today is a winning day for you.

JULIE, good to see you pop in for a quick hello. How was the wood-turning meeting? Tell us about your Cello lessons, what are you studying now?

I thought I was over this whatever bug I have had. No more tummy problems at the moment, but I went upstairs to do laundry today. I came home, prepared a light lunch, slept an hour in my recliner. then I got up and went to bed! another nap, almost 3 hours. I was just exhausted from doing 2 loads of laundry, bummer. Recovered enough to coook dinner, at least I can recover, but I am tired of this. Two weeks, off and on, of this is more than enough!

Tomorrow is the Valentine's Day Party. I really want to get to that, even if I have to come home and nap again hehehe. Mention party and I am ready, well, usually. Whatever this is, Joy now has it too. Both my support people, I cannot get really sick, no one to call on for help, they are sick too!

Time to retire to my recliner, and rest up for bedtime. such an exciting life hehehe.

Hugs to each of you, with extras, till tomorrow.

Sorry to hear you are still not well MizT. These nasty viruses can really exhaust you. Just remember to drink plenty of water and rest. Heidi - you will be a cot case if you do all of that next week - you have to look after yourself too. Good news about your calf - hope this is the start of better times. Has anyone heard from Gail lately? Hope all is well with her.

Broni did not have to go to the city so she left here at about 10am. We went down big time with the bowls. That was the first gday of the competition which finishes next Wednesday. I am happy not to have to play any more days.
Enjoy your cuppa with Broini Viv.

Broni - I was going to say that you could make it one more Sudoku visit and get off the highway at my exit and have coffee with me tomorrow. But, lucky for you, you're off the hook! It is mother/daughter day and Karin and I are going to see Anna Karenina. (My Mum's all time favourite book.)

Hope that motel is okay Broni and it was lovely to meet you. Just to finish my day off when I left you I had an Avon delivery to do just up the top of town. The bloody car broke down again!! Geez, had to call son to come and take me and all my goods and chattels home.
Now when hubby comes home from work he will bring the works truck and I will go with him and hopefully he can start it at least and get it back home.

Before going to bed, I decided to look for the nearest place from Maxine's that rents U-Haul trailers. I was surprised. I know where the place is. It's the place where the BF works! That makes it very easy to rent a trailer if I have to. I've found that the more prepared I am, the less things go wrong.

Well, off to bed after I look at Viv's pic.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYBODY
I am SHOCKED to find I was last here last Sat.. have missed Heidi's birthday... things are moving pretty fast here at times on many fronts..
To be honest.. I am getting slower and THAT is what making things go so fast.. plus trying to do too many things. I'm slowly learning to prioritise.

I am relieved that I only have pages 598 & 599 to catch up on..

Heidi, didn't you buy a house on the edge of your property a while back. I think you said IH was using it as an office, but couldn't that be also used as somewhere Maxine and her baby to live. Surely IH isn't using the whole place as an office.
Celia came out of hospital yesterday. She only lasted at home 4 days last time she was discharged. Wonder how long it will take this time. I will pop over to see her later this morning, but I cannot continue to call every day (I visited her in hospital nearly everyday) I do have a life of my own and am missing doing things for me. I know that makes me sound selfish for which I am sorry.

Evening all,
Broni, so glad you didn't have to testify. It sounded very intimidating to testify via video link, aside from all the rest of it. I hope you will come back again one day when I'm all here, if you know what I mean.

June, if you're glad you don't have to play anymore then I am glad for you...

Brenda, it doesn't make you sound selfish, it makes you sound like someone who has just gotten over being unwell herself and who does more in life than sit in front of soaps and would like to get some of it done.

Heidi, I'm not sure what I wish for Maxine... No, I know what I wish. I wish her the strength to do what will make her happy and to know what that is. I wish her freedom from fear and self doubt.

I had a call from my doc today. The doc I saw in hospital was a cardiologist, probably because of the symptoms I had just before the stroke. He has written a letter saying I need to see a neurologist. So I have to go to my GP to get a referral. I so hate paying $60 just to get a referral. Even though I get $30 something back, it drives me mad and feels like a rip off! Especially since I've just paid out for the dermatologist.

Hi Everyone..
Happy Valentine's Day to those celebrating today...enjoy!
Suzy...What a wonderful wish you have shared for Maxine...I agree with you completely.
Brenda...If you didn't care about yourself and those near you, no one else would...Having a life and living it is not selfish...You give a lot to Celia...but other things are also important...so do them and enjoy them w/o guilt. My two cents worth.
Tricia...rest when you need to but keep on parting, even at a slowed down pace...one day you will be over this virus and at your full energy level again...I hope sooner rather than later.
June, good to have experienced a new level of bowls, but completely understand the need to do something else for now.
Broni, Safe travels home and glad you were able to meet and greet w/o the court thing getting in the way of the fun. also glad you were so spoiled by all of the great folks that live in SA...
Viv...love the picture, sorry about the car problems and hope by now all is sorted out.
Heidi, Congrats on the healthy additions to the family. Have a safe, comfortable trip and hope all goes smoothly for everyone.
Cyn...good to see you setting up road pass-by meets for Broni and Col...too funny...wave as they drive by..hehe.
Bean...Sure hope to hear how your Valentines day meet up went...and it took you a longggg time getting your post together today...spinning arourd like a whirling dervish still...love it...its so you!
Julie...I'll be glad to see you slow down..you make me tired just thinking about all that you do..
Okay, I have a doctor's appointment so I'm outta here...Take care...know that I care..Peace.
