I thought of that after I posted MizT! wondered how long it'd take. How are you love? Long time, no talk. Any relief from the heat and humidity? Now that I've caught up with you, I have to go. Promised myself (and H) that I'd log off at 11pm Sudoku time.

It is me and coffee again, yummy. The morning starts cool (relatively, low 70's still at 8 am) and damp and sunny. We had 2 different T storms come through last evening, night. Came through another really drenching rain on the way home from the wedding, but that one did not arrive at our house.

The sandals did not go to the wedding, neither did the planned, print pants outfit! A total change of plans, and gald I did. Although temps outside were 100 + degrees, I wore a light weight knit pant suit with jacket and short sleeve blouse. I NEEDED the light jacket in the chapel, Al and I were sitting right under an AC vent! Most comfy with my arms covered, and Al did not remove the jacket to his suit. That is often the way in the South, a long sleeve is needed in the AC of restuarants and churches and other large spaces.


Al was in charge of the PA system and the playing of the recorded music, so we sat at a table that heald equiptment. I could have moved elsewhere, but prefered to sit beside him.

I heard briefly from Rola, party was a smashing success, weather was perfect! Party lasted till 11:30 pm, immediate clean up lasted till 2 am afterward. Peter washed the kitchen floor on his way to bed! a great time was had by all!

Rola has limited access to computer now, as they have a house guest residing in the computer/guest room.

Hi MizT! Hope you had a nice Sunday! Just back from the weekend. Dropped Brendan off at college and I was very surprised that he was nervous. He couldn't even eat lunch! D#1 did not seem nervous at all when we brought her last year. Hopefully he is more comfortable with the kids on the soccer team now that he has met them. I just hope he didn't show them he was nervous. The couch took the team to see Beckham play at Giant Stadium on Saturday night, Red Bulls v. LA Galaxy. I guess the game was good and exciting.

Tnere was one annoying thing that happened. I asked the coach if I needed to sign any paperwork since Brendan wouldn't be 18 until the 27th. He said no, so we left. Two hours later we get a call that I need to sign a permission form in order for him to practice. We had to find a fax machine. Lucky, my brother had one. I'm sure that didn't help his nervousness. I haven't heard from him today, so I guess all is fine.

We had fun over the weekend on Long Island. Friday night the 2 younger ones went to my sister's house to watch High School Musical 2 (they said it wasn't that good) and stayed overnight, while we went over with my other sister and her husband to my younger brother's house for dinner and a movie. My sil spent the day cooking spanish dishes (which were absolutely delicious) and we watched a Spanish film with subtitles on the big screen through a projector. (Volver) It was a lot of fun!

On Saturday we hung out at my brother's beach and enjoyed the view. It was a gorgeous day and there was a cool breeze off the water. My sil was in a sailing race out on the water but we couldn't tell which boat was hers. Saturday night the LI Philhormonic gave a free concert in the park and we all went there and listened to the great music on blankets. It was chilly so we had to use some of the blankets to keep warm. A good time was had by all. We didn't make it back in time to get the free umbrellas at the race track. My daughter was very disappointed because that was the one thing she wanted. But we can't do everything!

Rola, I'm glad Robert's party was great! Now you need some time to recover from all of the preparation!! Have a great day/night everyone!

What happened before?

I just get sinus headaches with the humidty. Now that it's broke, headache gone. We even have the doors and windows open, because the temps have dropped too.

What a weekend, Stella! I'll bet Brendan is acclimated by now. When do his classes start?

It is still hot here, and we have had no rain. My grass is brown.

Have you decided where you're going yet?

Brendan's classes start the first week in September, the 4th I think.

No, we've decided to wait until March. It'll be our 20th anniversary.

We're thinking of going to either Kentucky or Tennesee. I'll have to get a couple of AAA books and check them out.

I get the sinus headaches too with the change in weather and conditions. My allergies were bad over the weekend.

I don't have allergies. Hubby does and takes a Benadryl before bed.

I have sinus and allergy, too. No weather seems to help mine.

I take ClaritinD. Thankfully, I don't have headaches.

It's March 26. We dated for 9 years.

I've never been to Kentucky or Tennesee, so I can't help you there. I would suggest coming to New York, but March would not be the best time of the year to do that.

Don't rush into marriage. Don't rush into vacation plans. Just don't rush, do you?

He's tried Claritin and Sudafed. His trouble (and the rest of his family) is that a lot of them give him the creepy crawlies. The one prescription he could take is no longer available (can be used to make meth).

I took Benadryl Fri night and I felt like I was in a haze half of Saturday.

We met in college. He decided to go back to college and told him that he would have to have a job for at least one year.

That's why he takes it before bed. He can sleep through that. They make me hyper.
