l was just watching the eagles also. The camera was being moved and zoomed in close. Saw a great shot of the eagle's face staring right at the camera.

Hello. Another new SA. I hope you all are well. We had some excitement here the other night. Sindy bit gumball and we had to go get him stitched up. He got 12 stitches. If you want to see, I put a pic on my page. I also put a pic of Amber in the sweater I just made her. She said it's really warm. Amber, gumball and I have been out geocaching today and last weekend. What fun. Take care everyone.

They've gone home .....

They were well behaved and spent a lot of time rough-housing with grandpa.

Heidi, sorry it is cloudy by you. I wish you could come to my house. We had a great view. I took pictures but they did not come out to good.

June, I've seen the eagle turning eggs once, every other time I've seen it fiddling with the twigs on the edges or sleeping.

I almost forgot, did not see moon rise but soon after. Moon was yellow and bright, a tad bigger. But I can say I saw it at least.

Sorry it was overcast for you, Heidi. Will be a while fore another one too.

I had to Google to find what a freemartain is. It said most, not all, were sterile, and some exam of the placenta could tell whether she would be or not. I had never heard of this before, most interesting. What will you do with her??

Yes, it's raining here too, Suzy, and yesterday was quite cool. I'm having a weekend to myself - not sure I'm enjoying it but yesterday I caught up on the hours of TV that I had recorded in my IQ (set top) box. It's gone from 34% free to 85%. It was too wet to do housework, or that's my excuse, I only had to please myself - so I sat and vegetated. It was a nice change.

Col is on a Scout Course. It's only a few kms away so he comes home to sleep but is there from 6.30am to 10pm. He has agreed to become the Group Leader for his old group (Birkdale, Broni will know where that is) that his father started in the 60's. He went right through scouts as a kid and became a leader but gave it up before I met him when he went to work out west. I'm a bit concerned that it will take up more time than he has to spare but he seems enthusiastic so far. And once his training is up to date, things will settle a lot. He can then decide where and when he will put his time into it. If he has a good team of leaders and a good committee, he can oversee it all easier. Already people are coming back in knowing Col will be at the helm - that's a nice compliment to him, I think.

Broni - I read a few pages back about Poss and Workcover. Surely they would accept a report from his mother's Doc saying that he was needed there. That is low, but typical, not accepting that someone might want to be with their dying mother.

MizT... every freemartin we've ever had was missing it's reproductive tract entirely. They've all been examined by the Vet out of curiosity. We just treat them like steers and sell them for meat.

Another wet day. Might go to the shops this morning and do some ironing later. (use the power we are not generating with no sun!)
