Late getting this comment in, but Arizona does not have daylight savings time.

Up for my intermission, but think this one will not be long, it is much warmer in my bed than up here. OH, I remember why now. I think I shall go turn the heat back on . turned it off when I had windows opened this morning.

Scooter is sleeping on corner of my bed. I guess whe wanted some comfort, and a warm sleepimg place.

A grown woman is posting derogatory comments about Alie on facebook!! I'm not her friend so I can't comment even if Alie would let me...

How is Alie taking it? Is she upset or does she realise that people like that shouldn't be taken seriously.

She thinks she is standing up for her daughter and I can't convince Alie to let me tell her what's what! Don't want to end up with us fighting too..

Alie is upset but says she can handle it - please don't get involved Mum, it will turn into a war...

Suzy, best to stay out of it, involvement only means escalation. I spoke to Hannah recently about cyber bullying, she said with what she went through with real bullying in her younger years, cyber bullying is nothing! She said they only do it that way because they are too gutless to do it to your face...wise head on that kid's shoulders ♥

CynB you got me thinking about when I joined in SA so I have been sitting here looking back. I knew which year and roughly a date, first post on my page was 17 May 2007. I had been doing puzzles longer than that, I must have gone into chat a couple of times. Can't remember who invited me to join SA. I found my first post on page 96 on the 4th June 2007.
I can now get on and do some swearing in the house. I had to do the important things first didn't I

My mom's birthday is Thursday. My parents and brother are coming for dinner tonight to celebrate. I am making chili, my dad's choice. I am still trying to figure out why I am making my dad's choice for my mom's birthday???

My last post, # 144 is a perfect square.

Boys are out playing softball and I am home swearing. That does not seem fair.

But Tami, you are not. A square that is. Twelve squared is the last of them I know, well maybe the ones ending in 0 or 00, but that is still just 1-9 squared who bring along their friends hehehe.

I was up early ( by my bodies time) and went to my recliner to have coffee, Scotter joined me for some puuuuurrrrrr time, I love holding a purring cat.

Gail, might take Al a bit, but he would notice Screech was gone. I will not say anything till he asks though, once he is home again.

Tricia, that might be a good thing to not tell Al until he is home. One less thing for him to worry about. How are you doing? I hope you are taking care of yourself as well as Al.

I think Daylight Savings is a moronic idea. If you want more daylight hours, get up earlier. It's an awful thing for school kids to have to get up an hour earlier than their bodies are used to, and wait for the school busses in the dark. It's also more dangerous for them, particularly kids who ride bikes to school.

MizT.... I think you have the right idea. Don't say anything to Al about Screech until he asks. It's hard enough on you as it is. You sure do not need to be racking your brain for ways to bring up the subject. (((( HUGS ))))

Tami... since you're making Bernie's favorite dish for Bobbie's birthday, you might as well make Bobbie's favorite for Bernie's birthday. That should even things out.

Suzy.... stay out of it. You'll only stress yourself more and make it worse. It's only a pathetic woman pointing out to the world what a loser she is. Any person worth thinking of as a friend will see her for what she is. Let her do it without acknowledgement. It's only words, anyway. "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me."

Now to go wrestle with the demon calf. I'm going to try both the bottle and bucket again before tubing him, in hopes that one brain cell is working finally. He's a week old now, is big and robust, and SHOULD be nursing like a normal calf.

Heidi, your solution to cooking would work except when I ask my mom what she wants she always says "whatever you want to make."

Does she ever show any preference to any dish? I know she won't tell you. Nobody can do ''martyr'' like a Jewish Mother. Everybody is more important than she is. What she likes doesn't matter.

Heidi, you described my mom and grandmother perfectly. How did the calf do during it's feeding?

I'm trying to decide just when the cut-off day will be for that calf. He's still refusing to nurse. And it's an unpleasant kind of refusal. Is everyone familiar with those Crocodile videos of them going into a "roll" when they grab hold of prey? As soon as I pry open that calf's moth and put the nipple in his mouth, he goes into a roll like that. And this while he's grasped between my knees and backed into a corner! To keep it in his mouth, I have to hold him up. And because of all the good milk I've forced into him, he's grown to 100 pounds (45.4 kg) !

Tami... You forget that I've met Bobbie. And I grew up with Jewish friends and relatives. I understand the type.
