Broni, it's my hubby who got a second part-time job. Once my daughter is mobile I will get a job in Ottawa and he can quit his second job.

We aren't buying anything non-essential at the moment, so we won't be getting the wifi attachment for our computer. My SonIL downloads a lot of large things so there will be times the little pooter I've borrowed will practically shut down. Plus it only works at one end of the kitchen table closest to their wall. I don't have room on that side of the kitchen for my computer ... unless I want to stick it in the fridge. I'm just glad for what I have.

D is getting up by herself quite often now. She can't stand yet to make meals, etc, and she can't sit in a regular chair for more than about 5 minutes. But there is improvement every day.

Good to hear Theresa, her improvment is very good compared to what she was. This should mean less time you need to spend there as she continues to improve.

Oh well Theresa, at least it works somewhere so we get to see you!! Glad to hear there is some improvement. How did the physio session go? I hear sometimes people hurt more for a while afterwards.

Yep, the physio Pete went thru was just too rough and hurt him, went back this week and told 'em, just hope he can find someone down in Sydney.

Thought I was going to have to go offline. One problem with wifi, Alie can go online and chat after midnight when we think she's asleep... But her laptop is on the kitchen table, so all is good.

Shallow vent - it annoys me when people say 'your welcome', doesn't anybody know how to spell anymore?

You would be great in our house Suzy. We all cringe (apart from Andrew who is dyslexic and can't spell) over bad spelling and punctuation. I dislike text speak and never use it when texting.It may take me a little longer to compose a text, but it is readable by everyone.

By the way how are you getting on using Google Chrome?

I'm lucky Richard has been on hand to help me out if I get stuck, but is a lot faster than I was finding with Mozilla Firefox.

I posted last night when we got home. The pooter was slow so I left it loading but I see it disapeared into cyber space! I just said we were back and I had seen Viv. She is busy with Avon.
Got up to feed the cat and going back to bed.

No news from Robert. This could take a long time.

Had another bull calf born. Not including the stubborn dog food, that's 11 bull calves and 10 heifers.

I knew about the value of Pi, I just didn't know it had a special day. What are you & the beasties up to today???

Robert called. His daughter is going in for a C-section. The doctor believes that the baby is 10 lbs (4.53 k), way too big for a small 17 year old to deliver. Robert is at the hospital waiting on pins and needles for the appearance of his granddaughter.

Morning Suzy. Yes I am enjoying the break. Nothing exciting planned but trying to do something each day. Today we went to the library and then the produce store. Really exciting. We are now going to take devil dog for a walk.

This stuck out for me as we also had problems with a doctor with the same last name..

Devil dog has already destroyed his bed and "killed" a toy duck that we bought him. He likes to chew on everything. He stopped chewing on the coffee table, though.

He even looks a little like him! What a bad last name to have as a doctor!

You definitely wouldn't want to immigrate to Australia to work as a doctor with that name!
